anybody receive rejections yet?

I know that a large majority of the original waitlist was rejected back in may, but since then, i don’t think anyone has been officially “rejected” from the extended waitlist. Luckily I haven’t been at least…

same here. wasn’t expecting people to post their getting off the extended waitlist until the end of june… seeing it now has sunken my hopes haha

Do cc and seas operate separately? From former posts I do see that they notify people at different times…

Yes, I noticed that they did too. That leaves a glimmer of hope that there still my be college acceptances. I emailed my regional officer at the beginning of June and she said we should have more news by mid-June. Anyone want to email their regional officer to see if we can get more news? I don’t want to over-communicate but maybe someone who hasn’t been checking in regularly?

excuse me if this has been asked/answered before but are you male/female/prefer-not-to-identify?(refers to all people on this thread)

female

I heard that we will all be notified about our status between now and June 30th.

Hey guys, how is everyone feeling? I am getting increasingly pessimistic but who knows? I would still choose Columbia over where I have deposited.

Hi, this is my first post on this forum but I’ve been following this thread for a while. I’m on the extended wait list for CC. I know there is a minuscule chance of being admitted but I’m still hoping. Lets see how it goes.

After a tough decision, I ended up turning down my Waitlist offer. Good luck to the rest of you!

@StudiousMan14 If you don’t mind sharing, could you explain your reasons for declining and where you decided to enroll?

I got released from the wait list today. Any of you get in?

No word on my end. I guess they are taking more time or I missed the email. Others?

Also got released today. The email said “our incoming class remains full”, so I’m assuming that means no admitted students dropped out and every waitlister for CC was released.

Strongly considering applying for transfer admission, but I’ll have to see how my year goes. Meanwhile, I’ll be attending UC Berkeley.

@woof28 I found my email in the spam box. If not Columbia, where shall you be attending college?

Released as well for cc. Heading to tufts

Hey Columbia WL-ers from last year… hope you’re all super happy at whatever uni you ended up attending!
Just a quick question: is there any advice you can give for how to get off the wait list? If you didn’t get off the wait list, is there anything you would have done differently?
Anything would be appreciated — I know my chances are low, but Columbia is my dream school… And us ambitious kids never give up on our dreams xx
