It makes sense that final grades will likely be a factor. Good thing I didn’t catch senioritis. :)

I couldn’t agree more @WynterSun! A girl at my school got off of Yale’s extended wait list last year, and another got off of Yale’s (and one at Penn) the year before, and all three of them told me that their second semester GPA’s were 4.6+, so it was great motivation :)

So nobody has been admitted off the waitlist right?

Correct.

Still nothing? This is getting really disheartening :’(

Well they said they would tell us AT the end of June, not BY the end of June.

@WynterSun just a heads up–my school contacted the admissions office and there are apparently <20 of us on this list…

^That’s pretty cool, but I really wish these guys had a “z-list” like Harvard or gave transfer preference to extended waitlisters. It would suck to be part of an elite group of 20 only to be thrown out with the rubbish and have no chance in the future.

I absolutely agree with you WynterSun! Knowing that there are 20 in the group will only add to the pain if i am eventually rejected. Does 20 include College and Fu or only College?

The number of 20 seems kind of low given how many people listed that they were on extended waitlist through CC. When I called admissions they didn’t confirm anything but regional counselor said we would likely hear something around mid-June.

I got off of the waitlist yesterday!!!

I also was accepted off the extended waitlist!!!

@appledocq are you going?? Tough decision for me…

Congrats guys!

@appledoq @studiousman14 did you apply to SEAS or the college? Congrats to both of you!

@paris2496 SEAS for me

Appledoc and studious man how were you notified? Are you accepting? Apple doc are you CC or SEAS?

And congratulations!

I was notified in an email that prompted me to see an “update to my application” on the website. I already accepted and sent in my deposit! I’m in SEAS. Good luck to the rest of you!

So to summarize, two acceptances to the school of engineering (congrats guys!!) but no one to the college. Anyone else accepted out there?
