***Official Cornell Class of 2016 Spring Transfer Thread

I would say four times an hour between 7am-12pm, then it spikes to twelve times an hour until 5pm, then drops significantly to once an hour :). I should graph it.

Do you know if it’s a call or an email? I really hope we find out this week!

@Vctory It’s most likely an email! I believe only some acceptances are via phone call

@Caintpau Yes I heard back a couple of weeks back. Got accepted! :slight_smile: Cornell CAS looks very hard but fingers crossed.
Haha everytime I have an email I feel like it’s Cornell :stuck_out_tongue: Going crazy

Huh…it won’t let me access my financial to-do list at all. Before it wouldn’t let me log in, but now I can log in and it gives me an “Access Denied”

:frowning:

Don’t worry. does the same for me. Let’s not look into it too much. On the positive side it could be they are updating it :stuck_out_tongue:

@Vctory you have to go to your fin aid checklist within 5 seconds of logging into the portal. It says that above the login :slight_smile:

@RedBear2016 Ahh, I wish I that were the problem; it won’t let me log in to the finaid portal. I can log in to the main area (can access the check my application status thing, faq, etc. etc.) but when I click financial aid to-do list I sign in again and am directed to a page where it says “403 - Access Denied” and some stuff about not having permissions

Found an old thread with ED applicants…everyone who could log in to the to-do list was accepted, everyone who could not either did not post about an acceptance or was rejected…still trying not to read the tea leaves, but feeling much less optimistic about my chances.

@Vctory Can you login here? https://todo.newstudents.cornell.edu/spring-2016/transfer/todolist/

what does it mean if you can log in there?

I can log in there. What does that mean?

@Vctory aww I’m sorry :frowning:

@doctortillman I have no idea. For me it means nothing. Till I get the acceptance logging into anything means nothing :confused:

@schaudha Haha same… I don’t want to get my hopes up…

excellent point

@schaudha I can log in there.

Edit: Don’t think that means anything though. I can also log in to the grad school one, and I didn’t apply for grad admissions.

after doing some exploring it seems like anyone can log in there because we don’t need the ID that is required to view admissions letter etc.

@doctortillman @Vctory Yes I think anyone can login there. But really if someone can log into housing and you can’t, and same for the financial aid to do list, I don’t think it says anything about the decision.

so out of frustration I called Cornell CAS admissions to get a decision notification timeline :stuck_out_tongue: The lady said there was no chance of CAS people hearing back before Thanksgiving and decisions will be sent sometime in December X_X ONLY CAS…
