I thought I’d start the obligatory Spring 2022 transfer thread.
What is everyone’s target college and stats?
I thought I’d start the obligatory Spring 2022 transfer thread.
What is everyone’s target college and stats?
I’m trying to transfer into Cornell’s ILR, have a 3.89 gpa with 30 credits but in high school had a 3.3 gpa and 1350 SAT. ECs in college have been campaigning for a presidential and senate race, like 2 honorary programs at my school, and 2/3 clubs

In college I researched for UNC and Penn
In high school I gave a TED talk, ran the youth climate chapter at my school and worked with intl Orgs.
Also an iraqi refugee born in syria.

Does anyone know when the Spring 2022 application will open for Cornell on the Common App?

Wow! Now that this is gaining some traction, I suppose I’ll post my stats as well : )
I will be applying to IRL as a junior transfer student from a local community college in Texas. During high school, I focused mostly on band and speech and debate. I ended up graduating with a 3.87/4 and a 5.18/6 GPA, while competing at state competitions for band and nationally once for DECA. I was also chosen to go to American Legion Boys State (the same one they made a movie out of, which is pretty cool).
In university, I had a Chancellor’s Fellowship of Research and conducted research that was nominated to regional and national conferences. I was also one of the coordinators of The Honors College, and competed in National Model United Nations as well.
College GPA: 3.83/4
