<p>Could it have been my GPA? I understand that it’s not the highest yet but it is mainly my freshman year which pulled me down (3.5 during Freshman year; was at a school where I hated the teachers). 3.8 during my Sophomore year and 4.3 during my Junior year. Right now in my Senior year I have the highest GPA of my entire HS career (4.5), but they never asked for my first quarter grades like the person above me. :/</p>

<p>hey so i got rejected CAS to and it makes no sense either
i had a 35 on my act
granted my sat IIs werent all that great 700 on both math II and physics
i speak 5 languages fluently
i play 3 instruments
i even played for president bush last year
i have 400 volunteer hours
im top 2 percent at one of the most competitive schools in texas
i did everything right
and my essays were kick ass i spent an entire summer on them
my teacher recs should be good
i dont know what went wrong i didnt even get deffered :(</p>
