Official Cornell ED Class of 2014 DECISIONS Thread

Feral, based on your posts tonight, you are clearly both a gentleman AND a scholar. I’m sure our paths will cross sometime in the process of the two of us winning the game.

General Comments:I think if I worked a little harder on my portfolio I would have had a better chance. I am overall disappointed but who wouldn’t be? I was really dedicated to Cornell and wanted to attend there for undergrad. But oh well. Such is life. Cornell isn’t the only college.

Congrats to all those who were accepted! I hope you enjoy the next 4+ years in Cornell University! :)

AAARGH. After some technical issue killed my decision post 3 times in a row, I will now proceed to post a condensed version of my decision post:
Decision: Accepted CAS

Congrats to those who got in, and best of luck to those who are deferred.

To those who were rejected or deferred ED.

Know that while it may seem like the end of the world and you absolutely cannot see yourself anywhere else, you will end up at the right school for you.

I was personally devastated two years ago when I was deferred from MIT EA and then Waitlisted RD.
But I ended up at Cornell and honestly couldn’t imagine myself being happier at MIT than I am at Cornell.

Life works in mysterious ways sometimes and I am a firm believer that things end up where they should.

rejected for AAP. wonderful.
don’t feel like posting my stats. they were fine, artwork was good, i had some amazing hooks, and i reall thought i’d get in. BUT guess not.

=( did anyone get accepted to AAP?

Add me to the rejected from AAP list :[ I think it’s about five rejects from AAP so far

Gosh guys!
Congrats to those who got in!!! YAY!!!
And if you didn’t I’m sorry =( but hopefully you’ll get in somewhere else. I really hope it all works out. Seriously. I do.

totally uninvolved, but the lack of female acceptances on this thread is shocking (never mind all the other deferral and rejections of amazing candidates…)

It seems like a lot of COErs made Cornell…
Maybe I should have applied Cornell Engineering :S

I just got deferred from Cornell [ED] ILR, what are the chances of getting in through regular decision?

what conditions do we have to meet in order to maintain the acceptance??

Accepted college of arts and sciences chemistry and chemical biology!! :d

cityoftwilight: even though you are in, your application isnt complete until you send them your final grade report. do you really want to show cornell those grades right before you enter as a freshman? why ruin 3+ years of hard work just because you got accepted? keep working hard!
