:-) havardhop

@havardhop: u r so nice. if it is indeed one last spot then i guess u should have the spot. I am happy if I can have a GT. :D.

@Cutiebeauty: since u r God’s favorite child, can u notify him about the truce between meh and havardhop? “harvardhop gets the ticket, mixter gets the GT. everyone happy” lol. btw, I have some best friends who are Nigerian. I dunno why a lot of internet frauds are caused by Nigerians which kinda brought you guys a bad name in the international community. I personally have very high regards for Nigeria.

oh well, its the way the society is sort of shaped…and the optimum means to ends some unreasonable individuals choose wrongly. Most of my friends abroad hope to go back home to change both the politics and societal way of living. That was another strong point in my essay. Well, everyone is Gods’ child…im not sure he has favorites…i will def keep both of you in my prayers…but you have to believe n pray too…n confess positively!..trust me, it will work for you…Good luck mixter!

@cutie: Likewise, You are going to make a difference in this world, It’s why Cornell chose you. Thanks! for your prayer, It means a lot to me, knowing we don’t know each other in person, but you’ve taken a step towards heaven! That’s very nice.

You’re most welcome

Mixter: I don’t think I deserve that spot more than anyone on here. Let’s pray for one another and If we don’t get in, it just means God has a different plan for us.

I appologize I have brought up religion on this thread… since I know not everyone is part of one.

Well, you guys have a great weekend. I just interceded for both of you…and am sure He has done it!..Goodnight

@Cutie: Thank you!! I will, you do the same.

Thank you both, cutie and harvardhop. Have a great weekend! And yeah cutie, I will pray and wait and hope good news awaits ahead.

I bet this year there will be 2 non-GT students, at most, accepted to CAS.

@israilov: Umm… I don’t think so. There are more than 100 students a year accepted to A&S (not CAS) and I don’t think they would accept all 100 of them for the fall! or more than 70%. Are you an applicant yourself? If you are, what a bad way of self motivation =(.

@I applied last year for Fall, to CAS. Most of the accepted students already had GT. Spring transfer might have very few non-GT accepted students to CAS.
No, I am not applying to HUMEC this time.

Please post your successes on the Official Transfer Decisions thread! (If you plan on going to Cornell that is!)

Best of luck to all the accepted students and all the rest that have yet to hear anything :)

i was told to call Nov 15th if I had not heard a decision (both times i called and emailed CALS)…however–i really do not want a rejection over the phone; that would suck major…i think i should just wait it out–this sucks since it’s my second time applying.

I am calling A&S Monday to ask for a decision. I know, many have said they don’t/won’t release a decision on the phone (I think I read this on last years thread), but I really need to know a decision ASAP. I need to pay my UniversityBill this coming week, I quess I shouldn’t worry too much about Cornell. I already go a top 10 university… If I don’t get an answer I am going to withdraw my application. Maybe, I will consider re-applying for the fall, but that’s a big maybe. I wish everyone the best and for now I think I am just going to wait until monday and hope they tell me YES or NO. Goodbye guys…

best luck to u, harvard hop. Please let us know if you find out anything on Monday. Me too can’t wait anymore. First I am impatient, second I have to prepare for plan B… This wait seems forever :(

ahhhh harvardhop i feel the love!
sry for my several day absence, i’ve been celebrating with friends/family so my bad for my leave of absence!
i hope you really do get in!
don’t lose hope!
“Don’t believe in yourself! Believe in me, who believes in you!”

Hi guys,

Does Cornell accept transfer students who completed their first two years in a 4-year institution? If so, could you complete your degree in Cornell in 2 years?

Thanks!

So nervous right now!!!
My brain is now full of the image of envelop and mailbox. I almost wished that I could always stand next to the mailbox when tomorrow came…
How long does it take the snail mail to arrive? Jesus…

meh too. I would count more on email notification. I bet snail mail is not that fast since we call it “snail” … :(
