Official Cornell Transfer 2011

Really, do AS people send email about their decision?

if other Cornell schools do, then I guess they will do it as well. However I just remember somebody said that he received the snail mail on the 8th of November (which was postmarked on 4th) and email on the 9th. It’s no point to wait for email if snail mail actually arrives first. Oh man :(

so who has decided that theyre gonna go for sure?

i am going for sure.

it’s still a matter of fulfilling this GT agreement, but if that works out, I plan on attending in fall.

@Harvardhop

Hey, if you can hear about your decision over the phone, would you mind tell me so that I can also call?

Thanks!

Just called. she pulled up my file and said i should wait for my decision in the mail. anyone else call?

@boardingkid.

can you tell me what they say if you decide to call? they wouldn’t tell me my decision and i think they don’t tell rejections over the phone - only acceptances

I did and the AS lady told me that my decision had not been made yet…So annoying. But she told me that I could call next week to hear the decision on the phone

i think im just gonna wait it out—sorry guys.

I called A&S and a lady from the processing center told me that since my file was sent to review I could not withdraw my app, If I tried to withdraw it online I wouldn’t be able to. If I get accepted I can simply say NO. This is kinda weird.
I guess A&S will start getting decisions today! If you don’t hear back this week, she said to call next monday (which is more than likely a rejection) and your decision will be released on the phone. She told me that they HAVE rejected people on the phone previously. Good luck to everyone. Has anyone received anything… today?

Received my acceptance letter today. What’s up with this Facebook group?

To those of you still waiting: keep things in perspective and definitely practice your stress-reduction technique of choice every day. I hope to see all of you in January!

Are you serious? Next Monday from AS means a rejection?

weezyf, u r CALS or A&S? Congratulations, man!!!

anyone else from A&S got acceptance yet?

@Edithzzle: gosh, that means we have to count down from now? :((

Count down: 7 days till rejection …

Any cals applicants besides boardingkid still waiting for their decision?

@mixter

Neither/nor. ILR GT. Thanks :)

Don’t quote me on that.
The lady never told me that It would be a rejection, I just assume it would since rejections are usually made last!
