@Crown: That’s awesome. Vegas always sounds fun, although I’m too young for the Casinos. I have been to Vegas, but I am sure that Casinos are the heart of it.

@everyone: Do any of you have special talents, hooks, etc? did any of you send add things? age?

-Harvardhop!=)

@harvardhop: Las Vegas is definitely cool, its the real reason why I am so interested in going into hospitality management…I’m hoping I can get into the program and then return and work there in upper management running a full department/line-of-business…

I’m just hoping my community college background won’t be counted against me that much…but I’m coming from Southern California so it should be interesting, plus I’m a non-traditional student as well.

Bullmarket- I am a chem, bio, and physics triple major lol but will simply be a chem major at Cornell! =)

Zacharysmith,
LOL wow triple major. Did you apply to Washu? I heard they are known for having multiple major because of their non-core requirements.

Crownofthesea, Hurray for being a non-traditional! I don’t think community college would set us back.

my materials were just forwarded for review today?!?!!?!?!?! such a fast process already.

i’m applying for aem.

boardingkid: That’s awesome! I’m crossing my fingers for everyone!

Crown: That’s cool. I’m sure you’ll do well.

So, I am missing some forms (acc. to app.ID). I am calling CU on monday =)

thanks! same here: best of luck!

I called them many times to make sure all the documents were there and after each day, things were updated; and now, my apps already in review which is a weird/anxious feeling. you have no idea how nervous i am.

Boardkid: Althought I might not know how you feel right now, i will soon. I should start getting mentally prepared. =)… What are your reasons to transfer?

CALS: Biometry and Statistics

@,nah &Yeast: Welcome to our thread!

@harvard: just personal/social/ and of course, academic reasons. I know I am being vague, but if you want details, I can pm you them.

I know admissions is rolling basis, so does anyone know when after your materials are sent to for review will one hear word of admission?

@Board: That’s nice, I just was curious to know why people wanted to transfer. In response to your question, I don’t know when they will notify us. I can’t remember where I read this, but I think we will hear from them as soon as they read our applications and make a decision.

On the applicant ID website, it says that I am missing some forms; however, I sent everything. At this point, I do not want to worry, but is this happening to someone else?

^
The exact same thing is happening to me. My teacher recommendation and college adviser recommendation are missing.

how do you find out what they have received? mine doesn’t show anything except some financial aid stuff on to-do list.

@transfers2010: I feel you, but I am going to give them until Friday.
@Lalu: In your case CALL ASAP. If you can’t see any forms received then you’re in a bad situation…Let us know what they tell you…
Or, you might not know how to use the website correctly. Click on ‘check status’ on the left side of the page. Good luck!

Day 13! (and counting)…Let’s keep this thread going=)

Better re-send the missing form, since mail can lose some staff.

when’s the earliest that we’ll be notified of our result?
