@skim: Define significant. I do what I do because it makes me happy. Others have thought it significant enough to nominate me for hero awards. I would have done it even without any praise. I think being a member of this “Elite Nerd Faction” obliges us to help make our local, national, and global communities a better place. Oh and I am graduating with an A.A.

@WunNyne: I’m from the best part of California … NorCal. I grew up in Diamond Bar and Cerritos but I’m Bay Area through and through now. :-)

@reverese1134: I honestly have no idea why they called. If I knew I was going to be part of the “select few,” I would have never enthusiastically referred to Mr. Schachner as, “Hun!”

^I was wondering the same thing. @06122010: how are you allowed to legally bartend at 19? I’m just curious. I’m not INTENTIONALLY ignorant to practices outside of my immediate area, but I simply don’t know much about other states’ laws. Here in Missouri you can’t serve any alcoholic beverage (seriously, not even as a waiter/waitress- you can’t even CARRY anything alcoholic to a table) unless you’re 21. So are the laws just different where you’re from?

CONGRATS!! So you guys weren’t guaranteed transfers either?? They’re releasing regular decisions for transfers already…and they’re calling all of them???

Got the email from Ian (from ilr) saying the majority of decisions will be mailed out toward the end of april… i guess those already got called are the “love by the first sight” type? lol good luck to the rest of us who are still waiting :)

will you say being able to log in housing application is the sign of getting in while those who aren’t able to log in is either haven’t been reviewed yet or getting rejected?
