Shouldn’t the title be “Official Early Decision”? Just to make it easier for the 2015 class next year to find.

Oops. Forgot about that.

Should I set up a new one? I can’t edit the post above.

Yeah, make a new one!

or should we stick with the old thread? too many “official” threads might make it confusing. Just from personal experience, i like rifling through the old “ahhhhh! omg!” threads of past classes anyway.the longer they are, the better. But it’s all up to you. do what you like :)

I really think this should be okay. My bad, but I think the date the forum was started should give it away to everyone.

The one thing that really agitates me about this entire process - torture, really - is that we don’t know when our letters should arrive. I’d much prefer knowing that an email will come at 5pm on the 15th. I could deal with that. But if I don’t have a letter on Monday, I’m not going to be able to concentrate on studying and I have two big tests on Tuesday - I’ll be worried that I won’t get in. Argh!

Wej, I feel the same way! I have so much to do for Tuesday, a major term project for my legal issues class, and I can’t bear it! I don’t know if I should expect the letter tomorrow or Monday… most likely Monday or later.

(And, seeing 5 responses to this thread, even though I knew logically it wouldn’t be possible, I thought "OMG SOME PEOPLE HAVE GOTTEN THEIR LETTERS MEANING I’M NOT IN!)

**Decision: ACCEPTED **

I’ll post stats later. I’m still in chock!!

CONGRATULATIONS, REBAMA!!!

You’re an international, right? So you got an email?

REBAMA, CONGRATULATIONS!!!
I’m proud of you!!! Here’s to hoping that some/most/all of us can join you in the future!!!

Thank you!!!
Yes, I’m international, so I got an email.

AAHHH! :D

congrats! what did the email say? are you able to log in to the admitted student’s website? so many questions!

The email was pretty generic. I mean, it basically said what you’d expect it to. But it was still a pretty great email!!
It didn’t say anything about a website. Which one is that? I’ll try it out. :)

[Barnard College Admissions](http://snowbird.barnard.edu/pls/bcapp/admission_spring_events.input_cid)

people seem to have used this in the past years to predict their admissions decision.

What’s supposed to go there? The tracking number doesn’t work. :)

I guess it isn’t activated yet? or isn’t working this year? you’re already in, so it doesn’t matter!

I guess not. At least people shouldn’t be concerned if it doesn’t work. :)

**Decision: ACCEPTED **

[/ul]**General Comments/Congratulations/Venting/Commiserations/Scholarships,etc:
This is actually the best feeling in the world. I couldn’t sleep at all for the past few days and all everytime I think of Barnard, my heart just leaps to my throat and starts pounding, but seriously the minute you see that congratulations sign, it as if you were put on morphine and all the tension in your body dissipates.
I woke up at 6am my time and I told myself not to check my email before my Official IB exam in case I become too depressed. I had checked at 4am and was convinced that it was coming out on the 16th by email. I need something from my email so I checked it anyway and that’s how I saw the letter. I thought it was just some announcement for the application tracking thing. I totally flipped the crap when I saw it.
I am still so tired, and the coffee is not working anymore. Flunking exams.
**

Congratulations to ALL of you! I’m so glad that we’re witnessing straight-up acceptances so far. You’re making my stomach go all jittery. :-)

Be happy!

Congratulations to the admitted so far! Can’t wait to meet you!

And good luck to everybody else!!! :)
