Haha alright!! You’re right! Thank you!!!

Should I still keep my hopes up?

I got deferred in December, retook the ACT two weeks ago, got a 27, GPA 3.6. Tennis, NHS, various awards for music, community service, traveled abroad for a month for music, etc.

There was someone at my school that got in with a 26 and 3.8…

I wonder if they’ll keep updating? Still haven’t heard anything.

@csinger95
Probably not… Not until next fr

Friday* oops lol

Can somebody please answer this question? Was it REQUIRED to send in your first semester grades if you got the medium letter of deferrel ? I never did. I need to know, thanks.

@dettigers1
well, did it say “we need more information so send us 7th semester grade”? if not you did not have to.

I don’t think we are going to hear from UofM today or tomorrow… since their office hour only opens Monday - Friday. :/

AHHH guys I’m scared lol… Like I know four people from my school that got in yesterday… And I haven’t gotten anything. I have. 3.6 GPA and 28 on act… Got real good grades this semester… What do you think? I’m so scared haha

@shj941013 No. It sort of suggests it but Its confusing if Im required to or not. I didn’t have amazing grades 1st sem so that’s why I didn’t send it.

“Strong fall semester or second trimester grades may enhance your status in the deferred pool of applicants. Therefore, please ask your high school counselor to forward your fall semester or second trimester grades when they become available and be sure your U-M ID _______ is on the material.”

@dettigers1
that’s the one i had too! that didn’t require 7th semester grade, however, it could’ve helped if you had strong 7th semester.

@Shj941013 I got a 3.6 so I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t have helped me. Thanks.

I sent my senior grades but I got a B one quarter in an AP class. Will that hurt me?

3.8 weighted/3.7 unweighted

oh yeah and im in-state

oh i forgot to mention 2 years of volunteering at nursing home

If a lot of people from my school who got deferred got in but I didn’t hear anything (not even a rejection letter) do you think I still have a chance?

Wait so did U of M send the first wave of acceptances friday?

yeah. go back a few pages on this thread. ppl hv posted bout it
