*Official EA Thread Class of 2016*

NJ still can’t logon … expecting to be able to at 8 or 9 based on last year…

in response to questions about my location, $$

yes, i’m from MA, and idk about the $$, i’m still exploring the link they sent me

thanks, everyone!

@sop520 sorry to hear that. What were your stats?

gretzky17: u mad

In all honesty, though: grow up, dude! Everyone here is either a high school senior applying to a competitive university or an adult hoping his/her kid is accepted. I’m pretty sure we’re all capable of speaking and using English properly. You don’t need to get so uptight just because someone else doesn’t feel he has to be writing with thesis essay quality on a message board.

Accepted to the College of Engineering!

10PM, nothing in NC…HOLY BALLS.

Accepted as a journalism major!!!

I got in!!! so happy I will post my stats later

Accepted with 20,000 dollar scholarship

Too bad Im going to BU

Odd, the site went down.

make sure everyone posts in the EA official decisions thread! i got the email at 5:07 in CT, accepted with connections scholarship (engineering). congrats everyone, and keep fighting to all others!
I most likely will not be able to afford northeastern, so that’s one more spot for you guys!

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/northeastern-university/1258355-official-northeastern-university-early-action-decision-thread-class-2016-a.html

Well that was annoying, the site must have crashed, lol. Anyway, just as I thought, my D was deferred, no surprise. Now I’m just wondering what the percentage is for people who are deferred who get admitted later. If anyone knows where I can get that info that would be great, its not on their common data set. Congrats to all who got in!!!

Deferred :/

Now I know it says we will hear by April 1, but when do the decisions generally come in reality?

Accepted at 6:06 PM EST in New York, with Honors College and $20,000 Dean’s scholarship. It’s still not affordable, though…

accepted from nj! political science major! 3.8 W GPA 1870 SAT 29 ACT

I got accepted into CBA!!!
I live in Georgia.
First Generation.
Black female.
3.79 UW 4.01 W 30 ACT
I didn’t get any scholarships, but I think it’s because I very poor and they gave me a bunch of other aid. A total of $51,000/$56,000 for the year.
So happy! But now I have to decide between Northeastern and IU.

Congrast CPU :)

and congrats to everybody else!!! You most likely deserve your EA acceptance!!!

I was deferred (3.54, 1800), good luck to everyone else who was deferred. Remember, it’s not the end of your life, another school (that you probably love more) will accept you!!! :)

got deferred. 3.8 gpa, 1860. hopefully I’ll get in regular decision.

good luck to everyone else.

accepted:) 3.9 weighted, 2000

btw how accurate are their net price calculators?

to all those deferred - don’t despair, NEU’s yield is low which means they need to extend offers to many on the deferred list but you’ll have to wait a bit. many students that were accepted end up not going for whatever reasons.
