Official ED Thread Class of 2014!

Yeah I’m also an international student as I live in France and I haven’t heard anything. Do you think we might get them this weekend seeing as for us its just email notification? Can’t f***ing wait till Tuesday. This wait is taking my mind off school and only providing me sleepless nights.

Okay, so this might be somewhere on this thread, and i read like 5 pages of it and couldn’t find it, but I was wondering about where we find our NYU ID’s. Is that on our applications?

Thanks!

cfiorio10, I doubt it. NYU offices are closed for the weekend…so they can’t send any e-mails out before Monday.

EDIT:
@hellothere2010, the NYU ID is in your application confirmation e-mail/mail.

Sorry guys, this has probably been mentioned before, I can’t remember but I know that Acceptance letters are coming VIA UPS. Would that imply that rejection letters are coming VIA just regular postal service mail (due to the size). Thanks, and good luck everybody!!! :)

hellothere - after i submitted my supplement, they sent me an e-mail with my number.

Nothing again today.

Nothing in USPS for me…sigh

i just got in, told you so (on when). People who live further away wait til monday or at the latest tuesday

congrats woosah!!!
i live in jersey, i hope i get by monday  i don’t think i can handle a wait any longer than that.

@ woosah

You got accepted into CAS today? Was it a USPS first class letter or UPS?

Thanks, I just found it in my inbox. I remember getting that email but I never wrote it down so I forgot about it.

a quick question.

if NYU selects you for their LSP, does that mean you have been offered admission?

Well it means you’ve been offered admission to their Liberal Studies Program, not the school you applied to. I don’t believe people who are LSP’d are considered “accepted” when it comes to school acceptance percentages and score ranges and what not, but you’re basically in the school if you are in that program.

but does it guarantee your admission?

YES, nitefire, you are accepted, but the ED agreement isn’t binding anymore. if you hate LSP, you’re allowed to reject it and apply somewhere else RD.

thank you americanpie! i’m just stunned…

holla from North Jersey

nothing in the mail today, so here’s to monday

good luck to all!

I got in to Steinhardt!!! I just got the letter at 1:00 today!

where do you live?
