I think she more meant it in a way that everyone got those added even if they weren’t supposed to?

definitely not everyone because there are people who got rejected from ED1 already. Maybe they just updated for ED2 and RD ?
yea thats what i meant… like it was supposed to be for RD kids but ED2 people also got thrown into the mix by accident, she said to just not worry about it but maybe your right it could mean something… like i said someone else would have to respond and say if they see it

I sent my mid year a couple weeks ago. It says completed on OPUS. We were supposed to send our mid year reports on January 22nd according to their FAQ page

Yes, they do. Even if you got in ED1, ALL colleges still will ask you for final grades/midyear report because they want to make sure you just didn’t fail all your classes after getting accepted. While it’d be nice to see this as a sign of acceptance, I think I’m with @RamenUniversity on this one… I don’t think it means anything based on what we’ve all discussed and my convo with the emory admission rep.
But yea, I do hope we all get in 
I got a request from the music department to upload some recordings since I mentioned playing violin and ukulele in my application. But I never said I was interested or wanted to major in music-related field! So what’s it for and will the quality of recordings affect my normal application? Did someone else receive the request?
@Daisyspark I also got this same request and I didn’t apply for a music major as well. I sent one In thinking that it couldn’t do anything but bolster my application. but wasn’t the due date for that February 8th?
My quality wasn’t the best. I just showed what I could do.
Yeah I have a mid year report on my OPUS but it says initiated and not completed when I sent it in a while ago. That actually might mean something, that they only filed them for the admitted students? Could be overthinking it but that is possible.

my school auto sent mine… i don’t get how it would hurt you though if you didn’t even though they say you should turn it in on a part of their website, because tons of people wouldn’t be able to meet the deadline they put up of Jan 22 just due to their school not being ready
theres also the fact it hasnt been on the to do list for ed2 kids untill like a day ago, so im not sure how much they really care about it even though their official stance is to turn it in

Are there a lot of people apply for ED2? There are not many people here and there are fewer people in this chat than people in ED1. We might have better chance getting in than ED1 !!! jK
They are usually similar…and CC usually does not reflect app. numbers. Based on CC traffic, I don’'t think anyone could have predicted an increase of almost 3k last year overall. Also, people applying ED1 are likely more excited.
