Also, did you fax or mail your report?

Those who FAXED the midterm reports, where’d you fax it to?
Undergraduate Admission? (the specific number would be highly appreciated to confirm)
And did you call them after to confirm if they’ve received it?

Good luck for those of you who are applying! Here is a tip: if you can log into the housing application around the end of April, it means you have been accepted. Its basically an unofficial acceptance. I may have posted this before, but I don’t remember!

I faxed mine today after talking to a woman from the CAS office - the number she gave me was 6072555452. You can’t call and confirm because the transfer office isn’t accepting phone calls.

!! OK… I just got my ID one minute ago.
Here is what happened.
I actually didn’t receive any email about my ID from Cornell. I simply went to its website and clicked “forgot ID and password” and the ID was sent to my email IMMEDIATELY.

And…

"Your materials have been received. Your application has been forwarded to the admissions staff for review. "

I faxed my Mid-term last Friday afternoon. How could they update so FAST??? Aren’t they supposed to be super busy?..I was really surprised.

How exciting Jeremy! I bet that was a nice surprise! Congrats on getting everything in- I’m still waiting for items I sent weeks ago to show up as “received” on the self-service portal.

@Cordova- Does that nifty little trick apply to individuals who did specified “off-campus” for their living arrangements on the Common Application?

Also… Rolling admissions, non-rolling admissions… does anyone know?

Looking forward to your thoughts =)

@something - Yes I applied to CAS. Call them about your midterms.
I heard decisions start coming around early/mid April, is this true?

I called CAS earlier, she said they didn’t have it but told me to fax it to them so I did that today. Hopefully it’ll show up tomorrow or the next day.

i sent my college report along with my college transcript (which has been received for a while now). should i call CAS and ask about my college report?

Yes, and then your application will be forwarded for review.

I got this:
Regular decision applicants will be able to view admission decisions online on Thursday, March 29, beginning at 5:00 p.m. (EDT). A few days prior to the decision release date, we will contact all regular decision applicants by email with instructions for viewing decisions online. Please note that your decision will not be posted on your Cornell online application status account, so please follow the instructions that will be outlined in our email to you.

So does that mean we all get our decisions on March 29th?

That’s for freshman admission.

The last paragraph says:

“Please note that transfer admission decisions are communicated by letter on a rolling basis beginning in mid-April.”

hmmm i have an inclination to think that that’s not the case. since there’s only 1 deadline for transfers i have a feeling that message is addressed to freshman applicants. i feel like they might not have a different notification center for transfers. i have the same message for my UPenn status page. but I’m definitely not sure about this

The nerves are going to get to all of us.
Anyone have any good PUMP UP ADRENALINE music to keep our spirits high?

lol my laziness doesn’t help, here’s the answer “Please note that transfer admission decisions are communicated by letter on a rolling basis beginning in mid-April.”

but I’m enjoying drake/kanye/mac/avicii. so might not be what you’re looking for but it keeps me happy. Otherwise, Lana del Rey just came out with a very pleasant new album

here’s a question for all you guys: how are you spending your summer? just chilling, or working/interning?

Chris, I would definitely call CAS (not transfer admissions!!), the lady was very helpful to me and was able to contact the transfer director even though when I tried to call all I got was a machine.

About hearing back - I heard that decisions start in the beginning of April.

And I’m planning on having an internship this summer. Although if I get into Cornell I will have a very short summer (my school ends really late), so that might make it harder for me to get a good internship. I’d be ok with that though!

We just got to be on top of our game like Anderson Silva. The itsty bitsy spider went up the spout again.

Summer is going to be salvation/redemption/motivation/rejuvenation.

that’s interesting that you’ll have a short summer if you go to cornell. if i stay in florida my summer will be close to 16 weeks. if i transfer it’ll be somewhere around 19, so either way its way too long

Yeah my school ends really late. I’ll only have like 6 weeks if I get in.

@something12345 Thanks!

@Jeremystory That was such a good idea! I did that too right after I saw your post and it worked for me too! Thanks for sharing that! Now I can be less stressed out.
