If I’m not mistaken, notices will begin to be sent out two weeks from today. March 29th, the 6 weeks of notices begin.

For those of you who applied for financial aid… Is your financial aid to do list up to date? I sent in everything except the certification but my list is still showing 6 items need to be done. I just noticed the certification today. Is it alright to still send it in at this time?

@gregfields, if you dont mind, can you share what happened with the admissions counselors later on because im applying to ILR too and i’m just curious as to why they might have contacted students.
good luck though

@ILR Girl

P.S. For anyone who hasn’t had their financial aid docs processed: I turned everything in almost a month ago (in a ridiculous binder with tabs and sticky notes lol) and the Financial Aid To-Do List still reflects my need for these documents. I received an email, in response to an inquiry, and was told that financial aid docs for transfers are not priority right now, as the freshman applicants have an earlier deposit deadline than we do. Our documents should be processed by the end of April or early May, in time for our acceptance letters.

@hotelcornell I did the same thing- all evals in one big envelope and sent it in about 3 weeks ago and I’m still seeing x’s on those. Maybe it just takes longer for them to process hard copies. In any event, you’re not the only one with that issue so don’t worry too much.

When is your SPRING BREAK?

mine already ended this past weekend!

Thanks LilyDrenn!

@Jeremystory, my spring break is the week of April 2nd!

I contacted CALS about my materials not showing up on the Portal. They said they didn’t know anything and that I’d have to take it up with admissions…

Interesting.I haven’t sent in my mid-term report yet but my status says “Your materials have been received. Your application has been forwarded to the admissions staff for review”
…Any thoughts? I’m confused now.Is it that they don’t need my midterm report?? And btw,I’m only a freshman so all they have is my high school 3.98 GPA and first semester 4.0 College GPA.

@shadglore With so many applicants, mistakes happen. Mid-term report is a required part for transfers and I believe they won’t make a decision without it. And there is no reason they would make an exception for you. So just send it in ASAP hopefully before the admissions staff figure it out and change your status to incomplete with an ‘x’.

@Jeremystory…Thank you so much! I’m sending it next week Friday by fax

@shadglore same thing happened to my application! They forwarded your application, but just can’t make a decision…

I just faxed my midterm reports last night! Hopefully decisions are released soon.

Hey everyone!

Sorry if someone already asked this, but can we send midterm reports whenever? I was just waiting until spring break when a bunch of exams were added, so would you think now is the best time to send them?

Thanks!

hey guys, i finally have all checks on my checklist. does this mean it is forwarded for review? or is that a separate notice?

GL to you guys!!! I’m applying RD. I hope we all make it.

chris, its a separate notice.

@gregfields, i got that phone call too. i don’t know man, i wonder what we’re going to talk about.

@Chris, I have the same thing, emailed the office to ask. They said that my app hasn’t been forwarded to review yet because they’re overwhelmed with sending out RD notices but that my app is complete and will be send out soon.

I’m assuming nothing will change on our status pages for the next week and cornell won’t be reachable since their spring break started today

I don’t think offices will be closed during spring break when they still have so much to do. I know that UVA admission offices were open during their spring break and the same for my school.
