I’ve been accepted to UCLA and Berkeley, but Brown is my top choice.

Awesome, Catullus. I know a lot of my friends who are currently attending UCLA. Their semesters are shorter than most traditional colleges, as they follow the “quarter system”

I am log off now. I believe staying on college confidential worrying and being anxious over a phenomenon, which one has no control over, is not worth it. Only time will tell who Brown’s Adcom will decide matriculate - best of luck to all those who applied. Decision will come out on the 15th.

Do we gets iPads?

I got my BruID from the link above and tried activating my account but it didn’t work.
http://activate.brown.edu/files/activate/intro.shtml
Two possible reasons:
Case 1: I was rejected
Case 2: I was accepted but haven’t confirmed enrollment/paid deposit yet

Hey guys, so I can log in to the payment page. Anyone knows what that means? Or it doesn’t indicate anything on my decision? <a href=“Billing Center Login”>https://payment.brown.edu/C20460_tsa/web/login.jsp

@delinquente- I can’t activate my account either, but I can access my pin.
@stephenfuuuuu- I can log in, too.

So, does anyone know for sure when we should be getting decisions? I’ve heard a possible time frame ranging anywhere from tomorrow at 5 to Thursday the 15th. Oh, Brown, why must you toy with us so?!

@PallidPallas I can log in to library, payment, self service, and wiki. But on wiki it says not permitted. And as for activating my account, I can’t activate it, but I can log in.

I hate to be this guy, but worst case scenario you find out Friday afternoon. Who gives a ■■■■ if you can login to the payment page? Let everything play out. I know I speak for a ton of people here, no one will speak their mind out of fear they will alienate themselves from the group. Good luck to everyone, and I mean that.

is it definite they are coming out thursday?

I just called admissions and the representative said decisions will definitely not be out by tomorrow, and that they will post a date on the website when they have decided. Hopefully they won’t be pushing back the May 15th date?

I say we all change our profile pictures to cats to protest the deadline being pushed back, (not saying that it will be)

@Nostalgia14 good call, this ought to teach them a lesson

unrelated: I can get into my selfservice account again, but now it only shows Spring 2015 under Admission Term (no more Fall). anyone want to read too much into this for me?

Hey everyone, it looks like the consensus is that the decision will be out on Thursday, but when I called admissions last week the guy said today at 5. Could be wrong, but I’m just going to check it then. Best of luck :)

@trapp2k14 mine changed to that too… trying not to read into it at all… but I just want to know already!

@trapp2k14 @abear19 I don’t think ya’ll need me to read into it, I’m sure you are both thinking what anyone would think assuming that these aren’t just system errors. After all doesn’t it say “Because of the limited number of spaces available in each semester, a small number of transfer applicants will be offered admission for the Spring 2015 term.” :] Not that anyone is alluding to anything.

I think if you have Spring in your app, that’s a good sign.

I called this morning and the rep said that they don’t have any information as to when they will be released except that it will be “mid-May.” So if that’s not a great way to start off your morning, I don’t know what is…guh

Hi everyone. I’ve been silently lurking on this thread. I was just accepted to Wesleyan yesterday! That somewhat assuages the pain of my imminent rejection from Brown…

I just got the Spring 2015 (May 14th it was created) thing on my application. I really don’t think it means anything considering there are a bunch of people on this thread who also have it. In the message above, it says that they admit only a few in the Spring.
