<p>I had the interview today. The alumnus e-mailed me, and it was local.</p>
<p>It went well. He asked me about my reasons for wanting to transfer and what I have done at my current school.</p>
<p>I wonder how they decide who will get an interview, besides having an alumni interviewer in the area. Because I know an alumni interviewer in the area around my school. Actually, the interviewer is in one of the campus clubs I’m in (for undergraduates and graduates) AND the interviewer is also in my research lab group. I’m not sure if the interviewer knows I’m applying to transfer out, nor do I think they know I know they’re an interviewer…awkward! Haha</p>
<p>Had the interview today. The alum was nice, we talked about academics interests, transfer reasons and some projects I have been working on.</p>
<p>How did everyone answer that one question on the application that asked what other colleges did you apply to?
Were you guys completely honest? I am thinking it might have not been the best idea to tell them that I applied to 5 other colleges
