My recommendations/SSR are listed on the Harvard Applicant Status page as ‘Not received’ even though they all appear as ‘Downloaded by College’ on the Common Application site. Is anyone else getting delays on their recs/SSR being updated on the Harvard site?

@nocensure - Both my teacher recs have been uploaded to the common app now. The application fee says pending, so I think that means they have it and are processing, but I sent an email anyways. No response yet. I have to talk to my guidance counselor about the school report, but if it comes late I think I"ll be okay because I am in a snowstorm affected region and my school did not have power/had a snow day yesterday.

No code. He checked his email this morning

Pebbles4562, someone posted this a while ago. You should be able to get you code using your email through this link

Hi everyone, I just submitted my application and was wondering what I should do now. When do I receive my access code?

Hello, all. Quick question: I submitted my supplement yesterday, but on my applicant status is says “not received”, is this going to be a problem? Common app says submitted 10/31/11

Thanks

I don’t think it should be a problem. The deadline is actually 11/4 now, so you have a few days (if you live in the northeast). I had a similar issue, and just sent an email (that they didn’t reply to) so that there was documentation.

My application status still says that the application fee is “In Progress” and that my secondary school report hasn’t been received. I know they downloaded the recommendation letters off the common app. I think the fee thing should work out, but I hope this report goes through. Does anyone know what happens if thats’ a little late? I live in a northeastern town where we had a snow day yesterday and about 1/2 of the town lost power, but not me.

When I submitted my app on the 15th, it took them the weekend plus monday to get everything in the computer. I’m assuming it might take longer now since so many ppl are applying

what is this harvard code/place to check application status other than the commonapp do you all speak of?

^this:

https://admweb.fas.harvard.edu/ha/Applicant/ApplicantFrame.html

@guesswho12 - did you get a application confirmation email?

Harvard sucks… you have to pretend that you forgot your access code just to get it…

^on the contrary: it is very smart because they handle two different cases, the release of a new code and the retrieval of a lost code, with the same procedure.

Sigh Does anyone else feel like in ~1.5 months, this thread will become a graveyard for forgotten usernames? A final resting place where those who had hope posted. Once.

Wow. Why so gloomy sebelius? We’ve only just applied.

Hey I’ve got a question.
I submitted my application and all required materials no later than October 17. However, the status page still says my application fee is in progress and my recommendation letters, which were physically mailed, are not received. What should I do? The website says not to call regarding such questions.

same as, just dont worry bout it.

I didn’t know about css forms until today!

Thanks guys. I got the email late. They have everything. I’m so nervous because I accidently sent my math ii subject test from a time I did horribly (580) and I feel like even if they say they consider Nov. SAT’s they are going to initially look at it and slide me to the “Woah, there.” stack.

Guess- If there’s a “Whoa There” stack, I’m probably right there with you. Have hope! YOU ARE MORE THAN A SCORE, and all that jazz :)
