Does anyone know when applicants should stop expecting an interview offer?

Does anyoi know or have experience with someone getting a likely letter from Harvard? Do they get notified by email.,mail or phone call? Thanks. Someone I spoke to said she was recently notified by phone.

Sent from my HTC One X using CC

From what I’ve heard, likely letters go out in late February-March

Yes I have read the same, but are they phone calls. Or just email

Sorry, but can someone explain what likely letters are?

If you’re a recruited athlete, URM, or general applicant who stands out and, in the process, fills a certain “niche” at a school, most will generally send early notification of admission through a “likely” letter. While the letter doesn’t exactly tell the applicant they’re selected, it strongly suggests that by the time admissions decisions roll around the applicant can expect great news. Essentially it’s a way for schools to compete for sought-after individuals while easing the applicant’s nerves.

Interviews are held through mid-February. I guess they offer up until then.

Well.
Guess I should be expecting a likely letter.

-__-

my interviewer told me his report was due this friday :

Same here, my interviewer also said that she had to conduct all interviews before January 25.

Whoa serious you guys?
Interviews are DUE on the 25th?
That is super-early… -_-

No way. Everyone in my area is being interviewed the 28th (literally they are just having one big interview day lol).

I’m an international and I had my interview on the 10th after having been contacted on the 7th. I guess that it doesn’t matter when your interview is, as long as you promptly arranged a date close to when you were contacted.

it probably varies by region (
