<p>Wow goin’ crazzzy over here. Submitted Common App & everything else, but still struggling with the optional essay. I feel as though I may be going tooooo bold with my topic, but I might as well, or else I’ll always regret it.</p>
<p>Harvard’s always been in the back of my mind - my dad graduated in '80 - but I never seriously thought I’d apply until I visited it and fell in love with the campus. (Seems to be a recurring theme for me, lol.) I’d be dead pleased if I got in, and I think I’m at least sort of qualified, but honestly, I’m not expecting much. I guess we’ll all find out in a few months! Eeep.</p>

<p>Guys, I have a question. Did your schools send your transcript and recs via the commonapp, or did they submit it via regular mail? My school uses Naviance and my counselor uploaded my request for my transcript and recs, but H hasn’t received it. So…?</p>
<p>^ I have this same question. I was under the impression that my transcript was included in my school report, but my friends are telling me I need to request my official transcripts to be sent. We don’t have Naviance, though.</p>
<p>Edit: Don’t be concerned that H hasn’t received your transcripts. They technically haven’t received my school forms or anything, but that’s because they haven’t downloaded it from my common app yet.</p>

I think H is pretty lenient with this…I know my transcript won’t be on time. As long as the app and supp are on time, other things can come a bit later (not sure of this, I’d get a second opinion, lol).</p>

<p>I guess I technically sent my application in last night, but it’s such a relief to be done. It’s amazing how college apps hit you hard when you’ve been waiting years for them…and then to finish. Really its just a fuss about the essays. It’s sorta funny, I have one essay that I spent two weeks revising drastically and one essay I pumped out in one night (I applied EA to Yale), and am using both for Harvard with some tweeks. Yet they are sorta equal in quality though far different in content and style.</p>
<p>I actually can’t believe I’m done either. I just sent in my app and have my interview tomorrow but it still doesn’t feel real yet. And I was the same with my essays. I spent like 2 months perfecting my Princeton EA essay, but I’ve done essays for all my other schools in like 2 weeks! Good luck everyone :)</p>
