[li]Essays: Great! I went through about 50 rewrites of my CommonApp essay, but I was really pleased with the final version! I wrote about playing piano in concert, and how I finished the piece but then just started improvising, then compared that to what I’ve done in high school and now looking at colleges.
[/li]

[]Teacher Recs: Great! I think (I didn’t see either of them). I only had 2 classes with each teacher, but they both loved me and really appreciated my contribution in classes
[]Counselor Rec: Amazing lol. She was new at our school but really liked me alot
[]Supplementary Material: was gonna send music cd but procrastinated too long
[] Interview: Went really well! It was my first interview but I didn’t get too nervous. Plus my interviewer was really nice.

[]Advice? Commiserations? Feel like bragging?: I’m so happy!!! I got accepted everywhere but Stanford, which I was really surprised about because I didn’t think colleges would like my home schooled transcript. I’m deferring from Haverford next year to go to India, but I’m so excited to go in 2012!!! Congrats to everyone who got in (and going). I have lots of friends who didn’t get in though, so I definitely feel your pain if you didn’t :(

What will you be doing in India?
