using was not correct
The one where it was like 48 X 10^n is between 0.4 and 0.5, what is n? I got -2.
I put down ‘no error’, but I felt uncertain.
Yes -2. You would have gotten 0.48 I believe.
@Anonymoose I had 4.8*10^n?
If i used 3 examples, 2 from history and 1 personal, and filled to the last line, what do you think my possible score could be? My content wasn’t anything extraordinary,but I did use some varied vocab. Could I expect a 10 at least?
wasn’t it -1
I put hallmark (I’m not sure if this is right)
Parsimonious and frugal (pretty confident on that)
Maritime was correct
@marsha.ss
Wait - wasn’t it 4.8, not 48?
I thought the question was 4.8 x 10 to the power of -1
because it was asking for a number between .4 and .5 so 4.8 x 10^-1 = .48
Can someone explain the question “what is the value of 1/n for some integer n?” doesn’t it depend on the integer you use?
Anybody put scintillating? I literally just bubbled that in since it was the biggest word… lol
^yes
No. None of the choices would have worked other than 0.2 You can’t get 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, or 0.6 by dividing an integer into 1.
What did you guys put for number 28 grammar with “doing less than they were supposed to”?
@jondavidson47 Basically you plug in integers until the answer comes up with one of the answer choices so it was 1/5 with is .2
Got -1 for the x10^n question too. You guys got me scared for a second.
I wasn’t feeling too hot about the 35 question writing section and got the colored links question wrong. Guess it’s all down to March for me…
It was scintillating, meaning exciting or dazzling
“As compared” to or “compared to” for writing?
