***Official January 2015 SAT (US ONLY) THREAD***

Ok here’s my replication of the problem:

The graph showed 4 values: this was before the addition of the two 5.1s.

There was one minimum, and two of the value above it; (they don’t matter)
There were four 4.1s, which was the median and the mode in the beginning
There was one 5.1, which was the max

With the addition of two 5.1s, the mean definitely CHANGED as mean is not a resistant measure of central tendency.

However, the median does not change, as adding two values does not shift the median from 4.1 to 5.1
The mode, with four 4.1s and now three 5.1s, is not changed as the most frequent value is still 4.1, occuring 4 times over 5.1’s occuring three times

If I remember right, then it should be both the median and the mode stayed the same, letter E (Both II and III)

for the mars question.

Helpful for anything else.Thank you!

Can yall talk about new questions

The mode changed because two 5.1’s were added I forgot what mode was ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i put E sigh

It said [2, 10,000] so 0 should not affect it.

@anonymoose3 She patronized a book store because of her embarrassing passion? Why wouldn’t it be embarrassing addiction?

so far 3 wrong and 2 ommit is that like 670?

@hk9928‌ its just so people dont send 2,000 messages for one problem

celerity anyone?

@hk9928‌ this is unrelated but what are points used for?

There were three 5.1s. Add two, makes five

Guys, this is a really dumb question but what was the turtle and longevity vocab answer?

anyone say a=3 for grid in

Tbh I only remember the second blank. I can’t recall what the corresponding first blank is. Sorry!

There were three 5.1’s to begin with. So adding two 5.1’s will change the mode.

for (2k,5) k=4?

Oh if there was three 5.1s at the beginning then, derp, I would have missed that… But is that the same section as the quadratic one? Is this experimental, and did some people not have this question?

@granolaislyfex‌ endurance and hallmark

which ones are the most controversial reading ones as of now

@alexphan202020‌ I thought the same…but then I found out that patronized also meant frequenting so it really meatn that she was embarrassed about her passion so she frequented a store far away.
