*OFFICIAL* June 2012 ACT English section discussion

It was forefront because they were at the head of the trend…umm society as a whole…I put no change for having the girls being distinguished because it said, idk I jut knew that was it…and they chose the names for recognition I think. I’m not sure what the question is you’re asking.

Ok thanks I think I got those right then

I put society as a whole for the one about the guerilla girls. I also put the answer that was something about only having 16 women and all whites. Because there whole movement was about female and racial rights in art, that exhibit with only 16 girls and all whites was what started their movement I though.

But having only 16 women and all whites in a group that fought for feminine and racial equality? Doesn’t sound right to me. It makes sense to keep it how it was because it said they all had their artwork shown but the owner said that if it wasn’t in his show then they aren’t good artists.

I agree with Niquii77 here…we had the same answer for all three of those questions and I am pretty sure they are right.

^No, I’m pretty sure that the 16 girls and all whites were the one’s with their art in the exhibit. The guerilla girls noticed this and thought that it was wrong that there wasn’t more art made by females or blacks.

That’s at least how I remember it…

Ohhh that would make sense then. I was never really sure on that answer but that makes sense. it was in parentheses, right?

Still think I was right about that question, but oh well. I think there is a chance that the scale will be like -0=36, -1 and -2=35. I hope at least.

I definitely put no change for the more! one…

I also put the 16 women/all white/black whatever answer.

When will the ACT scores be released?

June 25 at midnight-online.

I put the 16 women/black thing as well.

To everyone above…I’m 100% sure the answer was the one where they said
“The artists had to be really good”-----I’m paraphrasing, but yeah…I think it was no change…I remember reading further in the passage and being certain.
Sorry if I disappointed anyone.
Good Luck nonetheless!

By the way…on the guerilla girls passage…does anyone remember that question where it was like-----> _____something something, their protests motivated blah blah blah…
I remember I narrowed it down to “For use of” and “Using”…I chose “Using”

Does anyone remember this? It was question 42 or 43 on the English
I just want to confirm.

^ I put using. I thought about that one too because for use of is awkward and wordy.

Does anyone remember the question on the LED passage where they wanted to add a sentence in about an additional energy source? Choice B was in the middle of the third paragraph and choice C was at the end of the third paragraph.

I think that one was C… I’m not 100% sure though if I remember correctly.

Ok, that’s what I put so I hope you’re right lol

Oh I’m right, I’m just not sure if it was C. I remember being very sure on that one. It was like after a bunch of sentences comparing the LED and standard right? It was sort of at the bottom of the page.
