<p>I think the essay is easy, but not that of GRAMMAR.</p>

<p>I wrote about the US space program throughout the mid-to-late 20th century and how focusing on their previous successes (Apollo 11) led them to greater success in pioneering space travel and research, but when focus moved more towards budgetary issues and new policies and technology, the space program faltered and began to lose steam and credibility (Challenger disaster). I read “Space and the American Imagination” recently (which is a fascinating book, btw), so I had a lot of that stuff fresh in my mind.
Some of the grammar was really challenging, though.</p>

<p>I got an 800 back in October in Writing, but this time I am not sure - at all. Some of the grammar was just plain weird. I even got a question with Harry Potter in it…</p>
