Official June 4 SAT Reasoning test discussion

wow all you must have a different form than me...

i put 1/2 for the cube one, probably wrong, i plugged in 4 for each side on the original cube, so that means the new cube had the side of 2 and the sqaure root of 2, but i thought the height didn't change and stayed 4. so i got 32 for the volume, and 64 for the original cube's volume

Does anybody know what passages were in the reading experimental?

The last question in one of the math sections:
Circumference of circle C such that |C-20.5|=0.5
What is a possible area of that circle?
Choices were something like 64/pi, 81/pi, 100/pi, 121?/pi 144/pi

was 1/3 an answer choice for the skid question?

there was a square and it showed a triangle then you had to determine what fraction of the square the triangle was....that was like 1/6 prob

The velocity, v, of a car can be found by the distance, d, of a skidmark it leaves by the equation v = 2rad(5d)

Car B leaves a 100 ft skidmark. Car A leaves a 100k ft skidmark. If the velocity of Car B is 3 times that of Car A, what is the value of constant k?

Car A and B may be reversed - whatever, you had to find K and K was on the slower car.

I got 100/pi for that question.

And, ARCHCornell, i thought this test was very easy as well.

i thought for the 100k problem and speed, that the speed of B was 3 times that of A not the other way around

the answer is def 100/pi

i got 100/pi. i think i found the equation for the radius and plugged that into the equation. 100/pi was the only one that worked.

ah geez, that math section murdered me, I'm thinking I did something like 650s xx. I think the Reading was okayish, and I didn't finish the essay TT.

hmm i didnt have that section..did anyone have math as section 4?

CRAP i think i got a CR question wrong.. the one about physicians reccomending restraint and w/ dissolute as a choice.. and abstemious too.. what was the answer to that?

in the CR passage about ballet, the question was vocab in context "...responded to teenage girls (something like that) means...i put "resonates with" i think, the other one was "answers" what was it?

haithman..i had math as 3 or 4...i can't rmeember...did u have writing experimental?

i wrote about a page and a half for the memories essay. The proctor called time when i was 3/4 done with my conclusion. i stopped halfway through a sentence. will that hurt me?

i heard they only score what you write.

haithman: i think i did

what was the word in context? i forgot.

i'm trying so desperately to find sb with the same form as me. but seems i'm the lone one :(

Anyone remember the writing with the phrase "killing frost" underlined? It was about a farmer and his citrus plant... what did you choose for that?

did anyone have the passage about the aliens?
