Okay, so this may shock some of you, but what would be the highest possible score I could get if I left 13 of them blank?

i thought no visible change was the Hc2h3o2 and naoh… cuz hc2h3o2 is a weak acid and naoh is a strong base so we wont be able to observe any physical change but for naoh and h2so4 it neutralizes and produces water and its precipitate salt… i may be wrong but can anyone correct me if am wrong

no you are right, i just remembered the question wrong.

I know I’m late on the oxidizing-reducing question, but w was a product so it isn’t an agent. H2 was the reducing agent because it was oxidized (with the O3).

@dci I got the same thing! :)

Best of luck to everyone! :)

@dci But the salt doesnt precipitate, Na2SO4 is soluble

oK, i have a lot of questions…

I left 7 blank. I am probably going to have to re-take this exam sophomore year :(

Electrons can only be emitted or absorbed as… (I put quantum something)

Why does soda fizz?

2nd question on the True and False about gases and kinetic energy

ALSO, PROPS to the person who pointed out that NH3 was used in fertilizer. You saved my dumbazz on the 2nd matching question!!!

For the question that gave the enthalpy for the two reactions, what did you guys get? I got +25 because the reaction was liquid to gas so I thought that it must be endothermic

Darn it, because I thought the dipoles were canceled out for CCl4 I put for the molecular geometry tetrahedral planar. It’s supposed to be just tetrahedral. #I hatelife.

i believe it was -35, lax. you had to use hess’ law, and in the end it seems you simply have to add the two reactions and their enthalpy value.

for the enthalpy I just added them without reversing them/multiplying them or anything.

Can some1 answer my questions?? :D

Btw, what about the barometer one in the true/false section? Did you guys get T, T, CE?

This test was harder than Barron’s!!! :[[[

It was way harder than the other practice tests I took. Or maybe it’s just because of the lack of time
I agree that it was harder than Barron’s. I’m definitely going to retake it next time

greatcatsby, do you mean the one with the diagram? if so, it was TTCE

I had a decent 15 minutes left

@rm: yup!! yay i got a point

btw, can you gys answer my other three questions?? please?

Energy as packets of light called quanta.
Soda fizzes b/c when you open the top the gas is at a lower pressure and escapes.

was H-Br just linear?

did u get 45 for half life

got the energy question right (yay)

darn it, got the soda question wrong (put it reacts with O2, so dumb)

By the way for the second question dealing with kinetic energies of molecules did you put T, T, CE. I think i got that one wrong too!!

I chose linear because, how can it be bent or anything else? Lol I’m not really sure
