Official May 2008 SAT discussion

oh yeah i put systematic too. i just forgot lol

systemic because there were "clear patterns" or something along those lines..

Methodical. 'Coz they explain it is done in this way and for this reason and blah blah blah

i hate sats...i hope the curve works out to our benefit

i put systematic. i didn't get it right away either....great for a first question huh?

what was the "historical perspective" snake one?

Essay: Muahahahahaha! I owned it! 2 pages!

Grammar: It was ok. What was the answer to the Identifying Sentence Error question #29. It was something about taking someone for a visit and something about never imagining something 5 years would pass. I put B because I thought it should be "never having imagined."

CR: It was alright. Which one was the experimental one? The 1st reading section or the one right after it? I'm hoping it's the 1st one because it was harder...

Math: Yes, it was average. BTW the Latin/German answer is 9 not 6 trust me.

It mentioned patterns and something else, don't remember methodical being an option... or that's what I would have put too

it was like, what does passage 2 have that passage one doesnt?

Does anyone remember the SC with the lots of decisions. It had an answer "modicum" and some other. Which one was the correct?

I think the 2f(x)+g(2x) = 19.

Does anyone know the answer to the math question that asked for like h(1)? It was a grid in and included a table with f(x) and g(x)

I hope your right quicksandslowly... that was one question that I was not 100% on...

It's 19 like said in the post above yours.

Joe: I put 19, since 2f(x) was 15, and g(2x) was 4

In the CR section with the 2 passages about the rocks and advertising...what was the answer to the question that was like "Which of the following qualities does the author of passage 2 demonstrate that the author of passage 1 does not?" and the choices were like less sarcastic, more circumspect?

idk it had me stumped

the SC one the answer was plethora...omitted that one :(

yeah i put plethora. and less evenhanded i think?

I got evenhanded as well..

It was way too hard for a 3rd question!

Rock text: it wasn't circumspect or sarcastic or less accusative. One of the other two. Don't remember which one. Answer choices anyone?

Edit: evenhanded. The others were too wrong to be right (huh...)
