Official McGill Class of 2011 Admissions Decisions

Dufay-
Good luck to your daughter. My son is so very happy at Mcgill and my younger child is aspiring to go there as well.
You are right, longjohns are good-hand warmers are good, hot cocoa is good -anything to keep them warm! But seriously, it is a fine school and Montreal is a fine town. It has become somewhat of a second home for our entire family.
I am intrigued that you are from Pittsburgh. I knew your town rather well some years ago. I always enjoyed my stays there. There was so much going on and all the people I encountered were friendly and kind.

**General Comments: I'm not shocked about this. Even if I did get in, I think I would have had a hard time with keeping up my grades and such. Yes, my hopes of moving to Canada is shot down a tad, but I also applied to Concordia, and as I said before, the Arts faculty. Since they don't look at SAT scores there, I may have shot. I can't say anything else other than I suck at standardized testing.

Bon chance tout le monde!**

ddomino88, what was your chem/physics SAT2 score?

does anyone know how long theyusually take to give you a decision after is says "reviewed decision pending"?

hss07: I didn't take any SAT 2's. I submitted my ACT scores only.

Pitseleh: They listed my midterm grades as recieved on 2/6/07. My status changed on 2/9/07

pitseleh -
last year (when i applied)
i had reviewed - decision pending on one of the faculties i applied to.
it took a few days. i'd say a week or so.

I'm feeling a confidence boost--your stats are similar to mine. Congratulations to all accepted so far!

it still says reviewed decision pending, and in the explaination it says, it was reviewed but a decision could not be made at this time.
what does that mean, its extremely vague...its not a further review required...?

sincerely, frustrated and confused.

CoffeeToffee- That's such a relief, my stats are similar to yours and I really want to get into Arts. Do you mind me asking what your individual scores were so I can get a better sense of what they were looking for? Thanks!
