hi,
Is there any one in this forum got admission decision? do you know why it takes so long
for them to process? I know they have to wait for those students who declines offers but at least they have to take a look at the application. Mine is still “ready for review”. SO frustrating. hix.

mine too ! i’m kind of scared …
someone from mcgill told me that because we are transfer students we have to wait till the end … so annoying !

I’m still “pending”. (sigh)

I got in about 2-3 weeks ago… so excited!! I guess they just do them as they come. Good luck everybody!

mk3296, may i ask you some information such as your school transfer from, GPA and your major that you got in?
Thanks98

Still nothing. I mean still ready for review. It’s soooo long and they NEVER answer the phone do they???

I think they mey release decision tomorrow because May 1st is the last day for admitted students to accept offer ? am i right ?

hope you’re right !

Hello everyone I have an important question !!
when I applied to Mcgill as a transfer they did not ask me for Toefl scores on minerva nor in an email. Is that normal? do you just assume that they want Toefl without them asking for it? I mean did they ask for toefl scores from any one of you guys using email or minerva?

I did do toefl anyways just to be on the safe side, and i sent them my scores but apparently they wont receive them until the end of May or beginning of June. I’m worried that if they received them late I wont be accepted. Even though they did not ask for them.

I will really appreciate it if you guys replied to me soon. Thank you and good luck to you all.

Masekma, iam in the sam situation, i applied as a transfer student for chemi eng, they said if you study in an english school for over 4 years, they wont require it. If they require toefl, i will fail for sure cuzz i dont have toefl. Good luck.

Btw, did anyone in this forum get decision?tomorrow is the last day for them to release decision for american transfer?

inconbeo, well I guess if they asked for Toefl they are supposed to ask for it on minerva
but there is nothing on minerva which indicates that I need toefl, which is odd.
I only studied in an english university for 3 years. I am a Canadian citizen. Also, I didnt get a decision but I’m not from the US.

Never got the reviewed-pending status, went straight to wait list this week. Does anyone know the rate of wait-list acceptances for McGill?

3.72 GPA, Canadian citizen transferring from a US University.

Mine is still " redy for review" it means they havent lookk at my application, so scary.

American transfer students were supposed to have received decisions by today. I’m still “decision pending”.

any Canadian citizen got decisions ?
Also any Quebec residents received a decision?

Does “Further Review Required” status mean anything (i.e. that I’m definitely not on the waitlist)? Also, has anyone who has gotten this status uploaded and heard back yet?

mcgilltransfer12,
further review required means
"Further Review Required

Undergraduate students: We are unable to make an admission decision as your file is still incomplete. Please verify your Checklist and submit requirements as soon as possible. Once the missing requirement(s) is received, your file will be reviewed again.

Graduate students: Your file is under review by Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. Please allow approximately 15 working days for the decision to be rendered."

I found this from their Help section. make sure you submitted everything in the checklist.
Hope that helps and good luck :)
