Looks like a lot of people got wait-listed. It’s going to be tough.

i got waitlisted too !! damnit i got into MIT for heaven’s sake !!! and i would choose midd over MIT in a heartbeat :(

Meh. Waitlisted. I feel like I’m typing this post a couple times to many on these results’ threads…

Flat out rejected? Yikes. I thought I’d be waitlisted.

Well, all for the best, I suppose. Midd was a last minute addition and I knew it wasn’t the right fit.

One more college to hear from (W&M), and hopefully that will turn this trend around. :)

Accepted, but not enought financial aid :(

I wonder if they will again accept like 0% from the wait-list?

According to their common data set for 2009 - Offers of admission were given to 1413 students (604 accepted a place in the class of 2013). 1527 students were waitlisted (of which 756 put their name on the list). 42 were later admitted.

Son was accepted! Tough choices ahead…

Waitlisted. ****.

Road, I also read that on a site and was like wow… Was the 0% only from last year though? Do you know what the % was from years prior to that??

Where did you read that 0% were admitted from waitlist because the official common data set (pg 7) said 49 were admitted. [Search Results](<a href=“Search | Middlebury”>Search | Middlebury)

WOW wth will all the waitlists? I’m on the waitlist too! I first thought it was a rejection, and then I read waiting list, and yep, mixed emotions.

I got into Amherst, though, so I don’t know if I’ll be keeping the spot on Midd’s waiting list. Maybe if Amherst’s aid doesn’t work out.

Also, anyone know about the admit rate? The letter says they had over 8000 applicants, which would mean almost the same number as Amherst? :O

ACCEPTED !!!
Not taking it, but wheeeeee
:)

Maybe they’re pulling a WUSTL.
Not really serious, just bitter.

accepted as a feb! I’m so excited!

accepted! thank goodness, i got waitlisted at amherst yesterday and would not have been able to handle another non-acceptance. although i won’t be going - I’m completely in love with Davidson.

My daughter got waitlisted. Third school in a row that happened after four initial acceptances. Not going to be a fun day.

@ pandorahearts… Yup they must be pulling a Wustl… I’m waitlisted from 5 unis now … no acceptances no rejections. I’ll die. :)

Wustl? Does that stand for Wash U?

I don’t think they are. They had a huge number of applicants so a lot of great applicants to pick from. But with their economic problems I wonder if many financial aid applicants will be happy.
