Just checked my financial aid. $32000 in merit and need based. So with the outside scholarships I can bring in and maybe a part time summer job, everything’s paid for. Plus, I don’t have to burden my mom with any of the cost( Besides Starbucks money lol) I feel so blessed.

I sent out an email first thing this morning asking if they’d notify those who do not receive a scholarship and if there’s still a chance if we haven’t heard yet. The MSP staff quickly responded that ALL students will find out their status by tomorrow.

Just got my email.

Didn’t get it
Now looks like I’ll have to go to Miami. Crap…

Congrats to all to have received awards and those who have not dont let that discourage you! I believe everything happens for a reason and everything will turn out well.

Is the Prominence Scholarship and the OSU Grant (FFP) renewable for 4 years?

D got very good offer. She really wants to go OSU!! My question is: This is one time award or she can renew it each year. My D sent me several e-mails from “Prolwer”. OSU IR is very good with guys “A” rank. Haha, this is a kind of silly reason to go to OSU.

Expert, please help me.

The Morrill scholarships are renewable for 4 years if you meet the criteria - 3.0 for Distinction, 2.7 Prominence, 2.5 Excellence

Look at the FAQs

Is this scholarship renewable?
Yes, as long as you meet the academic criteria each year.

I got the Excellence, Honors Medalist, plus Honda-OSU scholarship. The cost of attendance is covered including books and fees and I still will have money left over. I’m not sure if i will get any more money if I am a National Merit finalist sponsored by OSU. I got accepted to University Illinois-Urbana but they only paid out of state tuition. The honors program at OSU makes it a better choice and now I can relax knowing my parents do not have to pay for anything. I am truly blessed

Our DD has decided to decline the offer of the Morrill scholarship so hopefully somebody will be getting good news soon that you will get it! Good luck to all.

Didn’t get the scholarship and is pretty upset right now
Still haven’t gotten any emails from them, though they told me they sent out all the notifications. I asked them to resend…
OSU seems like it’s not an option for me at the moment, but hopefully I might be able to get outside scholarships? Sigh…

Congrats to all who has received it though! :)

According to the lady I called, all the emails were sent to ALL applicants to the Morrill regardless of result.

But somehow I didn’t get any notification. :/

any insight into the interview process? questions etc?
