<p>oh sorry thought you were being sarcastic. Well, school starts this monday. You need to go to SAC and register, asap. They started letting people register a while ago so I’m not sure if you’ll get many classes.</p>

<p>hi, i have a question! so currently, i’m only registered for only ENG 1CH and I’m waitlisted for 6 classes. (I have 6 because some of them are backups). So far, for PHIL 5H… it says my waitlist position is number one… Do I have to wait until I am number zero to finally register for the class? I don’t really know how this process works… I just know that I have to receive some kind of code from someone to register for the class officially, but when and where will I receive this notification? Will I receive the notification through Mt. SAC email account? And what can I do for my waitlisted classes… Can i just attend class even though I’m waitlisted? </p>
<p>And lastly, uhm how can I make an appointment with Linda Diaz? Can I send her an e-mail or should I just call her? And can she help me transfer to colleges besides UC’s? (Like colleges in the east coast…)

you can start by applying if you havnt already. and if you have applied…
take placement tests
get registration date
add any open classes</p>

<p>@thatone - it is probably that low because you are only registered for 1 class, but once you take more units you should be charged more. its about 26 bucks a unit if i recall…maybe different.</p>

<p>@isaberra - not sure how waitlist works either yet…wait for jetlogic or AAWW to chime in…i believe its waitlist position 0 then you can add the course. you can attend the class anyways. i think you should attend all your waitlisted classes because people may drop on the spot (they usually do). there probably wont be any notification…maybe an email but again…im not sure.</p>
<p>to get to linda…make an appointment in the honors center or call the honors center. her appointments are usually backed up about 2 weeks or so…so be patient. she can most def help you with east coast. do not email/call her…i highly doubt you will reach her that way lol.</p>

<p>@isaberra You have to be waitlist #0 in order to register for a class. Once you are waitlist #0, you will get a message saying you can add the class in your mtsac email. Once that happens, you will be able to change your class from “waitlist” to “add” on the drop-down list.</p>

<p>@Ren - yes they will/can. for a honors course i was taking…the minimum amount of students needed was 12/20 so roughly 60 percent is needed for the course to stay.
if not, the class will be canceled. ive seen quite a few that have been.</p>

<p>@isaberra - your mtsac student ID is a little student ID lol. like a drivers license shaped card with your picture and ID number on it. all students get one for freeeeeeee. you can also find your student ID number on your myportal. log in. click on the student tab. click view unofficial transcript and its on the top right hand corner next to your name. it should be a “LETTERFOLLOWEDBY8DIGITS” for example…“A12345678”</p>
<p>you can get one at the BURSURs office next to the MTSAC BOOKRAC STORE. DO THIS ASAP AS THE LINES GET EXTREMELY LONG AND BORING WHEN THE SEMESTER STARTS…srry for the caps. im trying to send across the msg of urgency!
