<p>I'm debating between attending a community college or Cal State and then transferring to USC under the Trojan Transfer plan (meaning I meet with a counselor this June to choose classes and agree to keep a certain gpa so i can transfer asap while taking the courses I would normally take at SC).</p>
<p>Anyone have any input about where I should do my required courses? I am debating about Cal State Fullerton which is a great school and I'm in their honors program. I'm only worried if i attend a community college I won't get my classes. </p>
<p>I have the same problem too!!! (however, more than likely, I will be going to the CSU school) My problem is though that the school doesn’t show up on the articulation page. :S
I think you should check that out and see what classes you should take.</p>
<p>@uscco2016 which CSU are you going to? I just checked and they’re more or less identical classes. Shouldn’t be too difficult because I’ve taken about 12 AP courses in high school so I’m not that worried. I just don’t know what’s more cost / time efficient! I wish they let us set up the meeting earlier so I know!! Did you appeal by any chance?</p>
<p>@moss I applied for philosophy, politics, and law (all one major) but debating about switching to communications. As for price, I’m not exactly sure because I received a fully summary of my financial aid. Any advice?</p>
<p>12 AP courses and you did not get in!?!?! I hope you appealed!! Wish the best for you if you did. SD. know I feel the same way!! I want it to be May to set up the appointment!! Aha. Well I really am not one to say, but I would go to the CSU school just to get a college feel, but that’s just me!

<p>@uscco2016 unfortunately i didn’t, feels like all the work i did went to waste. ): but i did appeal, and thank you!!! i hope things do turn around, only agony is waiting until may 10! thanks for the tip about the articulation page though, it helped! SD is pretty good, i have some friends going there! yeah i was thinking that too, the cc i would go to is literally a five minute drive from where i live anyways. i guess either way its more cost efficient than 4 years at SC! what are you majoring in?</p>
<p>if money is not an issue, I would definitely go to a cal state. It will make the transition to usc a lot easier socially and academically. A real freshman experience is something everyone should have and as a transfer, you absolutely won’t get that at usc. CC classes also tend to be a lot easier than university classes, so going to a cal state will get you more prepared for what they’re going to expect at sc. Good luck :)</p>
