im pretty sure that only like 5 people got A’s BUT this is only because it was a friday only class and it lasted 4 hours. many people ditched class, and as you can imagine, there were tons of slackers. and given a glass like this…it is def on another level.

do the extra credit. its easy and pretty fun.
do a good paper and you’ll do just fine.
but seriously, for the final i literally was so cracked up on 5 hour energy trying to memorize these names. the worse part is that MOST OF THESE NAMES LOOK EXACTLY THE SAME.

best way to memorize things - look for certain things that stick out. and made acronyms for art, and make songs. soudns silly but trust me. just use w/e method works for you, but the final consists of an incredible amount of material .

that class should be AHIS9H+ not AHIS9
btw i love your faces haha ヽ(;▽;)ノヽ(;▽;)ノヽ(;▽;)ノヽ(;▽;)ノ so cute

@dainese
haha thanks for all the advice again!!
I’m taking it by myself pretty much :'T but it’s okay I’m sure I’ll make a few new friends o-o (wait is this what you’re asking… lool)
& fortunately, I don’t have to cram that class all into a day per week o-o;; it’s on tues & thurs this time (:
Oh goody I was afraid she just gave one A out or something o_o;;
Wait the professor you had-- it’s Professor Moon right?

no i had a different prof. she may be easier…i had a male prof who was young and a USC graduate. i forgot his name but if i saw it id remember it.

in that case, i have no idea how she teaches the class…but nonetheless it will still require a deal of memorizing i think…

Hey guys theres a sunday class tomorrow and the waitlist is full. I emailed the professor just to make sure she had 2 different classes over the weekend, and she did. She also said both classes are full. Is she recommending not to try an add? Should I still go? I’m not on the waitlist

QUESTION!!!
So I want to drop my econ class cause I’m switching my major and I don’t need it anymore…but the drop w/out a W is TODAY but I can’t access my student account thing cause its CLOSED after 6 pm on the weekends…thats so dumb…I was out working…is there any way I can avoid getting just this ONE W???
Thanks

lol i know i know! I dont see a point in emailing the professor…this is so dumb…i really don’t want to get a W…Pcc registration services just HAS to close so damn early…why cant we be open 24/7!!! and if I were to transfer to mtsac for next year…what do you think chances are that I get classes? lol. paying for gas to go so far for school sucks… -_-

not really…as long as you do well on your other classes…you’ll be fine. Everyone has their own problems, and this is a reasonable one since it’s not in your control.

If I were you…I would try to talk to them on Monday and see if they can over rule it. If they can’t, then talk to the Dean(their boss).

its just that i live 5 minutes down from mtsac lol and it’d be more convenient for me to go there since i do a lot of traveling for work. So should I go ahead and drop the course tomorrow when it reopens and see if I can get it overruled? or talk to them first on monday? thanks guys.

@speakbraille- well technically youre already past the “deadline” so it doesnt make sense to drop it ASAP. just go in first thing monday and speak with someone who can help. just make sure you eventually drop the course for a refund or w/ a W isntead of a F

@nifloe - sundays = open lots
no one goes to school on sunday lol

@Dainese lol omg you were so right, it’s like a ghost town there haha

and do u just walk in the writing center and ask for help on an essay or whatever? Or do you have to make an appointment or something. I haven’t really used any resources on campus it’s barely my 2nd semester here so thats why im asking about it.

And is there an extra level of difficulty if you take ENGL 1A online?? Or will I be fine?

@nifloe - i think the only added difficulty is that you will be lonely. in my ENG 1AH, it was the best class i took at mtsac. i made the closest of friends. having friends proofread helps a lot.

as for the writing center, you can make an appointment (its usualy better too) but you can also walk in. it really depends on if theyre busy or not. towards the beginning/ ends of semesters it can get pretty crazy.

and yea…ghost town indeed. if LA is able to have no traffic on sundays, then mtsac better be a ghost town or hell has frozen over.

so I sent in my appeal for the W…saying that it would be a waste of a W just simply because I couldnt NOT login to the online registration services and blah blah blah…the freakin lady in front was like oh chances are it wont get appealed…um okay lady -__-
hopefully it gets approved!
