No one knows for certain but if past patterns hold decisions should come out Thursday March 16th.
@airfire1928 where did you hear the 14th?
@le12345 my friend who was accepted early action told me
Usually they have been next tuesday so, the 14th?? I wish colleges weren’t so vague lol
REPOST
Based on past years and EA/ED decisions last December the most likely date for release is Thursday, March 16. And that would be the latest as Admitted Student Days start the week after.
@TomSrOfBoston Where are you getting your info from to insist it’s going to be the 16th based on past patterns? According to this post, decisions have historically come out on Tuesdays. So, that would be the 14th.

@CARacing Last fall EA/ED decisions came out on consecutive Thursdays whereas in the past they came out on Tuesdays. So the most likely day for decisions is Thursday March 16. They could come out on Tuesday March 14th…or perhaps Thursday March 9! No one knows for sure.
And if you call Northeastern you will be told decisions will be out “by April 1st”.
This Thursday would be amazing!!!
but aren’t they usually sent out on the 15th? EA this year came out on the 15th of december and last year RD came out on the 15th of march?
Decisions always come out on a Tuesday or a Thursday. I have offered potential dates based on past patterns. You will just have to wait and see.
Honestly guys…At this point it’s like we’ve already waited this long. We can afford to wait a few more days. So who cares if it’s the 14th, 15th etc. And let’s just pray it turns out okay. No sense in trying to predict this stuff. Can’t change the results.
@TomSrOfBoston, do you know if there’s any relationship between the actual date and the date chosen by local competitor schools such as BC or BU?
@Husky1,2 I know that EA for BC and Northeastern came out on the same day. I’m not sure if it’ll be the same day for RD.
@1zogden1 I feel like that’s just a pure coincidence lol
So many schools release on the 15th of December for EA, don’t read into it. No, I doubt that NU cares when BC and BU release their decisions.
Neu called me twice about my css profile is that positive news regarding my decision? He like asked us to fax stuff over to him to fix a discrepancy or something. Why would they go through all that trouble if I was rejected? (This was a feww days ago)
@michiganb That’s a good sign, they wouldn’t ask you if they were planning to deny you. The priority is academic qualification first, then financial qualification second. Same thing happened to us for CaseWestern.
I sent in my FAFSA and CSS Profile, if there isn’t a problem with my financial aid application I wouldn’t get a call right?
Also my decision link disappeared that used to tell me I was deferred into regular applicant pool. Anyone else’s? Maybe decisions will come out tn
nope @michiganb
