I didn’t apply for FA, so I’m going to withdraw my apps promptly.

However, is it necessary to tell the schools that I was going to apply to but didn’t (like the schools that only have my ACT score and high school transcript)? I feel like they’d just ignore my email if I haven’t even fully applied… that’s just me though haha

@fadedviolinist I’m sure it’s fine if you don’t send one to schools with just the extras. I’m doing it just to make sure I don’t get angry emails from anyone asking me to complete my appplication (:

I’m so glad folks are finally getting those quarantined e-mails – and CONGRATULATIONS!!!

If anyone still hasn’t heard, I’d try to contact your ISP to see if it’s being blocked.

In D’s experience, you won’t get any angry e-mails when you withdraw applications, but because you are a high caliber of student who has been accepted to NU you WILL continue to receive mail and phone calls from some schools seeing if they can convince you to come. You may also get some letters saying you’re welcome to change your mind and come next year… or any year. ;-D

MomCares - Unless your ISP also supplies your internet, contacting your ISP actually won’t do anything considering an email service provider and an internet service provider are two totally separate things.

If anyone is still not getting the email, just wait.

As I recall, last year Comcast, who is an ISP, had held some of the e-mail from NU. Only after they were contacted by NU were those e-mails released.

Guys, today feels more surreal than yesterday. I’m contacting all schools I sent anything to just because they always call my house and ask me when I’m finishing my apps lol.

I’m so excited for all of you who got in ED! You must be incredibly excited. If you didn’t get in, you will have an equally exciting future elsewhere :)

Yay! I bought a bumper sticker on Amazon for my poor car that just got into an accident.<3 I bought NU jewelry on Amazon and the gear I bought from Marshalls.
