But when you call it says their normal office hours are weekdays.

I donât think the days of releasing decisions are normal lmaoooo

Someone should at least try calling to see if their office is open? And ask if itâs today?

I will at 8 their time, I live in the east coast so diff time over here

Their webpage under Early Decision says we are guaranteed a decision by December 15âŠso Monday it is.

Two more daysâŠ

You can interpret âbyâ by the meaning of before 15th ya? So like not on 15th?

@alafaeâ
Nah it means anytime before the 16th is fair game

This is getting ridiculous⊠NU abandon us :((

@nopeyvergâ Did you call?

@alafae haha i wish it was âbyâ the 15th :(

The office of admissions is closed over the weekend, so nobody can call.

@alafaeâ yup, got the British guy automatic message saying offices were closed until the Monday. Oh well.

Hereâs to a VERY long weekend. Normally weâd all like a VERY long weekendâŠbut not this weekend.

Letâs hope itâs automatic emails then guys. Monday is so not cool for me because my school asks me to tell them my decision by Monday (your Mons are my Tues) because they have to prepare teacher recommendations for my regular schoolsâŠand my school closes for holiday on 18th. so not cool.

@alafae you should ask for them just in case.

this is bs

@gkfc13â True, am planning to do so, thanks. Itâs just how the whole date thingâŠwhat is honestly taking them so long??

Hey guys, Iâm a Northwestern c/o 2017er. My advice: Donât call the admit office, and especially donât leave a voicemail. Theyâre not going to just tell one person when decisions are coming out, and Youâll inconvenience the person who has to sit through all of those and delete them.

That said, NU sends decisions by the 15th. Decisions are never released on weekends because the office is closed on weekends. That means your decisions are coming out on Monday, the 15th. So on Monday at 5 p.m. CST, SOME of you will get decision emails, but those emails also roll out over the next five or six hours. For example, I did not get my decision email until about 8 oâclock, three hours after people had already begun blowing up College Confidential about it. Some people didnât get their decision until 11 at night.

Just wanted to end some of the conjecture here. I can tell you with complete certainty you will get your decisions Monday evening at 5 p.m. CST, and theyâll roll out slowly over the next five or six hours. Good luck!

@afriendlyguyâ thank you for the advice!! Much appreciated!!
