I omitted 2 and def got 3 wrong, I really hope I didn't get too many wrong
I had a lot of the same answers for the last 25. I think i had 3 Es in a row.

On Conics did you guys get B? (-2, 5), and on the weird piecewise where it was x, and f(x-1), did you get 3.7?

I think I did pretty well; the test was pretty easy.I missed the line/plane question because I didn't read carefully enough, and the last question on Standard deviations for sure (I didn't know anything about it and just guessed C).

I got to the end on that one damn triangle question. Was it a = 4, b = 6 and angle A = 42? I got it wrong cause I'm a dumbass, and labelled h as 4 instead of bsin A (***...)

OMG IF I OMITTED 8... and let's just say I got everything else right... can i still possibly get an 800??????

What is 3 wrong if I didn't miss any more, and how much of a lee way do I have for 800? (What's the usual curve)

quantumpencil, you will get an 800 if you only got 3 wrong and omitted none.

bobob, that is right on the line. it might be an 800.

andreaaaaaa, what do you think I would get if I omitted 8 and missed 4-5?

does anybody remember the answer to the arithmetic mean with like x^3 and 5 numbers?

Yeah, I think I remember this question. I did it like this.

X^3 = -6+8.5+7-2+X/5

5X^3-X-7.5=0

So the point at which the average of the five numbers is equal to the numbers cube is the zero of that cubic, which was x=1.20

On the piecewise function, the answer is 0.7 because it said f(x-1) when x>1.
You have to keep plugging it in until it becomes less than 1.
I got 4 wrong so far without any omits...hoping that those are all I got wrong on the test.

Looks like I got 4 wrong no omits too, if that piecewise one was .7

Damnit, that makes sense now, why couldn't it have made sense yesterday morning >_>.

Was the conic B?

^
Yup, (-2, 5) is what I got.

Awesome. Hopefully -7 will be 800 this time; that way -5(with the .25 crap) is sort of save unless I made any more dumb errors.

Quantumpencil, I got 1.20 too, although I checked it on my calculator and x^3 didn't prove to be the exact mean, but closer than the other choices.

How many questions do you think I may have gotten wrong with 1 blank to still have an 800?

well, i think i did well on this test. YEAH
i omitted none, but missed maybe 2-3 problems
anyways, i think i can hopefully get 800, so i dont ever have to take this test again.

I was surprised/worried by how far off it was. It was a couple numbers away, not just decimal places.

with 1 blank you can get 5/6 wrong and still have 800

what do you think I would get if I omitted 8 and missed 4-5?

^
That's -13 raw score, which makes it 37.
That is around 740.

Okay, thanks. :)

I got (-2,5) on conics and .7 on f(x-1) too.

I remember getting (x+7.5)/5. Are you sure it was x^3?
I think it was the only question on which I used "solve(".

was there a question involving odd functions? if so, what did people get? and if I skipped three and got 3-4 wrong, what would my score be?

I don't remember what the question was, but regarding your score, it would be around 800 to 780.
