[*] Where else were you accepted/waitlisted/rejected:[/ul]General Comments: Ever since I sent my app all I can think about is being at NU… good luck to all of us!!

Hello everyone
I submitted a while ago due to the demand of my school’s counselors, so I’ve been waiting in the dark for quite a bit.
Any fellow Floridians out there?

My counselors gave me my transcripts and let me go, haha. We’ll see what happens when we get to Dec. 15th!

December 15 is so far away, and thinking about it is only going to make me worry more… and yet I’m here doing just that haha.
Anyone else feel the same? Worrying?

I’m not worried, I’m just nervous to see if I made it or not. I’ve got other schools I like, just none as much as NU. I might be a little sad, but I won’t be crushed.

Yeah I guess I feel the same! Would love to get in but I’m kind of mentally preparing myself not to in case. Thankfully my “safety” school I applied early action too as well is one that I would love to attend, so I’m not worried about not getting into a school that I like. Its more of just being impatient (its like those times you have to wait weeks for a teacher to return a test, times 10)

I have a favorite match, and a favorite safety, so I’m okay. I wouldn’t like them as much, but I’d still be fine.

I think I know the answer to this question, but I’m just making sure. If we get in, does being ED give us housing priority?

Also, how do roommate assignments work?

No priority to housing. Roommate assignments are after RD results are announced and the decisions made by the end date.

Alright, that’s what I thought. Thanks!

Anyone applying to Medill?

I’m applying to Weinberg, biological sciences major.

Anthropology major right here

Medill applicant (:

I’m with Pink up there, biological sciences. Possibly double majoring, or minoring, in applied math.

Undecided like a boss;from milwaukee

Hi Fellow EDers:

I was wondering, why would you want to post your stats? What if an NU admissions person reads this thread, recognizes you by your info and doesn’t like some of the comments you’ve made.

I’m so excited about the prospect of going to NU, and there’s no way I’m going to post anything that could take me out of the running.

That would never happen. First of all, no NU people post here; it’s unlikely they’d read it either. Second of all, most of are stats aren’t anything identifiably unique. Third of all, why would they ever disagree with “I love NU” “You should come to NU” etc? Lastly, it’d be completely against the law, or their rules, or something to use our personal opinions on a topic against us. There is absolutely no problem with posting your stats, nothing will happen.

I agree with Crimsonstained - as long as we don’t outright badmouth NU, we don’t have anything to worry about. If adcoms were to actually scour this thread, they’d find nothing more than a bunch of super excited Northwestern applicants who want to share their excitement with others :)

It’s safe to assume that they’ll be spending their time elsewhere.

Like managing 30+ thousand applications.
