Is the new due date past yet? I did it on the old due date, so I don’t know when it is.

Agreed, posting stats is a choice, but I hardly think discussing how much we love NU could possibly hurt us even if they did have to time to look at this stuff!

And yes, it was yesterday, November 7th. All the ED apps are in! Hoping it wasn’t many :)

Look for the results during the week of the 10th (the 14th, specifically). I doubt they’ll be available on the 7th and they sure as hell won’t release them mid-week.

Best of luck to you all. It’s a captivating process. Whatever the result, this will not be critical to your pursuits, so long as you’re an ambitious and hard working individual.

Central, she wasn’t saying the 7th will be the release date, she was saying that was the due date. The release date (The tentative one on their site) is the 15th.

Yes I’m applying ed too! I dont want to do the whole applicant info thing, but to summarize i have 2210 sat and pretty bad gpa (around 3.6 to 3. 7 probably) with 7 ap classes and three really good sat IIs (800,800,780). My GPA is def the weakest point, and then it would be probably my sat score. I don’t have any sports, but man i suck at sports so much haha but i have other okay leadership roles. I don’t think my ec would stand out that much. I honestly do not expect much, but if I get in it would be miraculous. But I mean, im pretty lucky guy, so i feel like its gonna be good! haha oh im also asian international applicant but i might be classified as us… i studied in middle of nowhere wisconsin high school which sends almost nobody to top 30 and im not studying in private school in atlanta, which sends a lot of kids to top 30 colleges! I don’t expect much from NU but I would be happy if I get into michigan early.

^^^^^^yay Wisco applicants!

I agree BookishGirl. I’ve never really understood the point of posting stats before decisions even come out. No offence to those who already did post them, but why even bother? It just creates unnecessary stress for everybody as we compare ourselves to other people.

kdy, A 2210 isn’t weak. 2210 is right around the 75% of their SAT scores.

slowmango, you’re not really agreeing with BookishGirl in your statement. Her statements was that she won’t post because she thinks it will hurt our chances, or something. You just don’t get it. I can understand your point, but her’s just makes no sense.

Hey guys, everybody love everybody. No point in arguing here, we’re all stressed.

I just have a quick question i’ve been worrying about for a while; does Northwestern look at the SAT Writing score at the same level as Math + CR? I have a 750 Math and 750 CR, but only a 680 Writing score so I am just a little worried about this.

SAT Writing is not looked at the same lever as M and CR.

Do the decisions come in the regular mail or are they emailed?

email first followed by regular mail.

So when do we find out the results? December 15?

December 15th is what they say, but I heard they sometimes release it the Friday before? But this year that would only be the 14th haha so I’m not sure.

Pinklemonade is on the dot with that one, haha. It’s the 15th, technically, but it could be a bit earlier. Email first, mail later, like NUDad said. And Infernal, I’m in the same boat, I have 800 Math, 720 CR, and 650 writing… I don’t get how I did that bad, I’m an editor in my newspaper class for goodness sakes!

That is pretty weird with you being an editor. That’s standardized testing for you.

Yah. I think that the writing section is less important for a reason though. They can tell more about your writing from the essays you send in, than they can from your writing score.

Crimsonstained7:
point noted.

what is legacy worth at NU?
