We all need to calm down
fav books anyone?
Mine’s either The Great Gatsby or The Beautiful and Damned

Erm… kdy0218, here’s a person who only took one AP junior year… due to some unfortunate circumstances. Well I did take three AP tests in total in May, but didn’t do all to well on them because well… you know… I wasn’t in the freaking AP classes.

I did very well on the SAT II tests for the AP subjects I tested on, but I’m not sure if that ‘makes up’ for anything. My teacher and counselor recs were probably really good, EC’s are okay. I think my SAT score’s pretty average… at least among the people who post stats on the NU decisions thingamabob. What else is there…?
Err… I’m Asian, which definitely doesn’t help. At least I’m not going into a super competitive major @ WCAS. Also, a little over 10% of applicants from my school were accepted last year -,- I mean… it’s not a BAD school to say the least. I don’t understand why. We’re nationally ranked ‘n’ e’erthang…

How were people’s supplements? Who actually gave it a title? I didn’t even know we had to do that until one of you mentioned it here ^^

Mine was a’ight. Kainder oerenthusiastic?

rapfan313, mine’s The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Simple, yet elegant. It has a certain… je ne sais quoi? Not to mention, anyone who is anybody has read it… No… really.

Also…
IMCALMENOUGHDAMMIT

My 2000 SAT most probably killed my app but who knows there might be some unreal weird magical influence that made them still accept me?O.o

NU should release decisions on 12/12/12 :|

@bookishgirl,
How many frantic NUED (ha!) hopefuls does it take to screw in a lightbulb?

None because someone else can do it while WE’RE ALL FREAKING OUT! :)))

@picklebump Same here. My score is decent but it might not be competitive enough for NU…that and my supplementary essay sucked haha

has anybody called or heard anything? my week is kind of one big panic attack about this!

Its already Wednesday, and we know we’ll be getting them by Saturday- that isn’t so bad when you think about it! Still going to panic everyday at 5 central time though.

Lol, you took any english tests, subjectgiraffe?

I’m gonna be staying up tonight…Ironically, writing my other college essays whilst waiting for a magical NU email at 4.30 am !

Where’s everyone else applying incase they dont get into NU?

Do you think it will actually come at 5? I’ve been checking my email frantically every 5 minutes!

Today’s unsubstantiated prediction: decisions will be released tonight at 5 pm central time. This came to me in a dream

Sent from my DROID4 using CC

Not depressed// its central time… So if you are at east i guess it would be 6

@picklebump Nice one haha. And yeah, I took three subject tests and got above 700 in all three so hopefully they’ll take those into consideration as well!

Has anyone seen Life of Pi yet? I’m waiting until I finish the book :)

n0tdepressed, we’ve been guessing “tomorrow at 5pm CST” for erm… all week. Just lettin’ you know ^^

lolz always hoping it’s today but never actually expecting it to happen. so whenever it is, it’ll be a nice surprise!

Well…our guess has been “today at 5pm” since last Friday, ahaha. But I mean, only two more days till we can be sure! Unless they decide to send them out Saturday which would just not be cool.

If they don’t send them out until Saturday I might cry. Haha is anybody else way to stressed about this?!

@englishgiraffe We’re on the same boat then!

I’ve gotta feeling (Woohoo) that tonight’s gonna be a decisions night
That tonight’s gonna be a sad night
That tonight’s gonna be a loooong loooong night

^ That’s seriously hilarious. :D

Hehehe :P

Looking at the Brown thread, almost everyone from a 1980 to a 2300 got deferred :O
