I am not trolling you guys, trust me I’d be having the same reaction if this happened. My school uses a program called Naviance, and it said that a person had been accepted to NU. I am the only one applying but I had told my counselor today that I was accepted to another school, so I thought that she mixed up which one I was accepted to. But then she called me to say that it wasn’t a mistake, that I had been accepted. I’m hoping that it comes tomorrow so I’m not hated by my future classmates hahah it’ll come soon!!!

If I think someone’s lying/trolling I just act as if it’s real, unless it’s really egregious (That was the first word that came to mind). Now, try and figure out whether I believe her or not. Am I acting as if it’s real, or do I believe it. The world may never know ;-)

But in all seriousness, I give the benefit of the doubt, but that the email was a fluke or something.

Hi rckchlk, my school uses naviance too, where can you see that a person had been accepted to NU? Please tell me im begging you…

I thought you said 20 kids from your school typically apply yo NU. What other school did you get accepted to today? You can’t apply to more tan one school ED. The Common App wuld flag it.

She could have applied EA to somewhere else, or it has rolling admissions.

No offense, but can everyone please at least attempt to use normal English, rather than txt spk? We’re all applying to a top college, you can take the extra few seconds to type it all out. I’m sorry, but people typn lik this annoyz mee.

go watch some Everybody loves raymond on netflix or tvland to get your mind off the decision guys. Surriously, it works!!

Clyde10 you can do one ED in addition to as many EAs as you wish sibling as it is not binding or SCEA

Not text speak. iPad typos. Sorry to annoy you, your Highness. God forbid.

^ I just checked Naviance, saw no recorded acceptances and had a heart attack. Then I checked the Dartmouth and UPenn acceptances and those too weren’t updated even though kids in my school have been accepted, so I think the school has to manually do it…

Could have. And she could say which one.

So which EA’s gave notice today?

Regarding Naviance, my school uses it too. It does show the number of students who apply to a certain school in this little graph at the bottom of the screen, BUT enrollments/admissions have to be put in by your counselor or yourself.

So if your school uses Naviance and it doesn’t show anything, don’t jump to conclusions. I checked a few different schools where my friends got in and it doesn’t show anything, so they haven’t put their own decisions in/their counselors haven’t gotten around to it yet.

Everyone, relax. Northwestern probably does not send out admissions results to every single counselor in the country, so this could be real… or not… but it doesn’t matter because we’re all gonna know in less than 48 hours anyways.

SO… WHO THINKS IT’S TOMORROW? Just kidding, guys. But seriously everyone go take a chill pill!

Lol what a coincidence I meant “so long” not siblings

Anyone else apply to Communications?

Clyde, I’ve typed a lot of these on my phone and not made those mistakes I kind of am your highness here; I started this thread XD

Ah, just saw all of this, I’d been looking at the class of 2016’s thread. I had my third stress dream last night, I am beyond freaked out. All of my friends have heard or are hearing within the next two days; it’s such an insane week! As the days dwindle, my confidence in my decision does too…

What’s this I’m reading about admission decisions being released Friday?!

hahahaha worlds lowest gpa. good name lol

Your parents must be so proud.

Lizzie, take a breath. What school you do, or do not, get into does not affect who you are, how well you will do, etc. Decisions come out by Friday, we will know soon.

Clyde, take a chill pill. I’m joking. Don’t throw a hissy fit

Alright guys, let’s just stay calm and not put too much faith on decisions coming tomorrow!
We’re all really nervous but we can survive two more days!!

Also, I think Naviance is a pretty common thing as my high school uses it as well.
