@LemmaDr I would recommend asking your question after decisions are received, because right now, anything that anybody tells you is pretty much a toss up, that goes for chances too.

thanks lol, I can see people are stressed.

Does anyone know when results are coming out? I submitted by app march 19 and still haven’t heard back…

I’d be really surprised if you had heard back already considering when you sent your application in. Decisions are supposed to be released (for CAS applicants, at least) “throughout the month of May.”

Some people have heard back from CAS. It all just depends. When you call in though they’re adamant that decisions are sent out starting May 1st. Who knows.

I called today and asked why my HS transcripts were still not checked off, because I knew they had them, and they updated it for me then and there. Now everything is checked off and completed!

I think it’s safe to say that the people that have been notified already probably submitted their applications earlier in the year than most. It takes weeks to process an application before it can be put into the pile to be read so if you were still submitting parts of your application through March it would be really difficult for them to read your application that quickly.

for those who were admitted, did you find out online or via mail?

I applied in January. Still haven’t heard

I guess I am the only one who hasn’t got any update on my Albert… I called in and they say they have got everything, but it takes time for them to process… But I am still a little bit worried, because nothing checked off on my Albert, probably I am the last one to hear my decision… I don’t know…

They send you an email with your decision. Don’t go by the checklist on Albert they never update it. If you sent it they have it. I was accepted but still had things that weren’t checked off on Albert. Don’t stress out about it.

hey guys, this might sound really really stupid but i couldn’t find any info on this:

so, say you applied to NYU as a spring transfer but you got rejected. then can you apply again as a fall transfer?

i know it’s kinda silly but was kinda curious… maybe the school requires that you wait another year until you apply again, but then if you’re a sophomore you can’t really do that so you gotta choose between spring and fall transfers… k thanks guys and wish you guys the best of luck.

Thank you! you made me feel better! But can I ask have you got the transfer credits shown up on Albert? Is it before decision or after decision?Thanks a lot!!!

I just checked albert and all my materials just got marked off (college transcript, high school transcript, Fee, Test scores). However nothing on instructor evaluations was even listed there. So I called them and they said once again, albert is an inefficient system and that they will contact us personally if any item is missing.

@meilleur
I am not sure but I would stop trying to figure stuff out you are gonna drive yourself crazy.

@everyone
I would stop calling NYU and saying stuff isn’t checked off on Albert. I am sure that are just getting annoyed with you. They say if they are missing things THEY will contact you.

I hate how there’s a link to “NYU clothing and gifts” right next to the link for Albert. It’s like they’re taunting us lol.

@BAM010893
I mean you just said you got accepted, so have you got the transfer credits shown up on Albert? I am just curious, thanks!!!

@meilleur Yes, but I am unsure of when they were first uploaded there.

What number did you call?

ACCEPTED TO CAS VIA EMAIL THIS MORNING!

So happy! I’m applying to the Economics major.
