Worked at my department in college both freshman and sophomore years, amazing letter of recommendation, and freelance work. Portfolio was very strong according to several people.</p>

<p>For everyone who was admitted: Once you get your NYU e-mail address (should be a few days after you make your deposit) join the NYU community on Facebook and find the Fall 2013 Transfers group so we can all talk on there.</p>

<p>Two of my friends applied to CAS and they haven’t heard back yet. The notification date is May 15, so it’ll probably be next week.</p>
<p>So they already sent all the final admission decisions for gallatin?</p>
<p>Whew, I was getting worried because some CAS applicants already got admitted. I’m really hoping Thursday will be the big day. From last year’s thread, a number of CAS applicants heard on May 10 or 11 although they mostly got rejection letters…</p>
