oh yeah, it was "NaCl solution has a higher boiling point than water because NaCl solution's vapor pressure is higher".

damn now i remember i omitted that because i was vaguely recalling some fact about vapor pressure. ah crap, i shouldn't have done that. oh well.

gulliver, you put dissolve it in water for what?

did anyone put the filtration method for sand?

yeah i got filtration for the sand and sugar thing

what was the answer to like the mendelve guy or whatever? Like he predicted the element for Ga earlier than the compliation of the period table BECAUSE Ga should have physical properties related to Aluminum or something??

it was one of the statment questions

yeh I did.

silver_hammer: I forgot which one

hey lets talk via aim. Its so much easier.

what are your sns

I think I put t t ce. I think im wrong though :(

mine is thrillz4ever

also the alpha particle question?

I think i put T, F. Like gamma particles or whatever go right thru the gold foil, BECAUSE gamma particles have a higher mass

yeh I think I put t f as well because gamma has a mass of 0 while alpha's 4

yeah i had T, F for that too

HOLLY ****!!! (excuse me) that test was soooo impossible. i took at least 5 practice tests, 3 from the princeton review and from the collegeboard book, and i scored 750+ on ALL OF THEM!! my god.......there better be a curve on this test. now i'm done venting my anger.

lol join the club otacon.

you remember any questions by any chance? we're trying to compile them

wow...all that anger has gotten to my head that i can't remember anything from the chem test. i really need to calm down lol. maybe once i get a cool mind, i will think of some questions, and post em.

Yes, the NaCl question was T/T/CE I think. What did you all put for separating sand and sugar, it was one of the first questions.

thats filtration

The Mendeleev one was T/F. Mendeleev was able to predict the properties of Gallium, but not because it has the same number of electrons as Aluminum. That question was kind of tricky because if you thought that it meant valence electrons instead of total electrons it would have been T/T/CE.

damn, i missed that one

what was the electron config of the transition metal?? Like there were 2 ones?? 3d3 or 3d10??

I think I put 3d3 but I wouldn't count on my answer being correct because I definitely just failed that test.

I concur with ruella76: put the same answer and bombed the test :(. See you in nov ole friend.
