For NaCl one, The answer should be TF. T because the Kb is positive. F because less water molecules can come out since the NaCl is stuck into the water, and vapor pressure is lessened

did anyone finish the whole test without out just bubbling in the spaces?

I mean not get them all right but just read through all the questions and did them by brain work

are you trying to ask if people got through the entire test before time was called without having to rush through it and blindly mark answers?

ya, my english is kinda suck. I am ESL. hopefully i stated it clearly

well in that case, i got through it. i got to number 70 with around 8 minutes to spare. but i'm still not too confident.

you're way better. Did you take AP chem before?

nah, my school doesn't offer AP Chem. i went into this test taking a regular chem during sophomore year in school and just prepping over the summer...a lot. we'll have to see if it was enough.

My chem teacher never teach the class about redox, first order(second order) and naming -nane organic compound. And I saw lots of them in Kalpan. So I just tried to study those. But these isn't any of those(except 1 about reduce agent?) on the test(maybe in the very last 10, but i did not do it so i don't know if there is any)

How did the actual test compare with the practice tests in Kaplan?

I think compare with today's test. its difficulty is about the same but Kaplan covered more material than actual test. maybe Kaplan is a little bit harder

So you would say, then, that Kaplan is a good prep book for the Chem SATII?

ya. And also Princeton review maybe. because when I went to find the materials, it is sold out in the book store i went to, this proves it is a good book. the Kalpan I used(I use it whole day and put it back onto the shelf) is the last one in that store.

Yeah, Kaplan was actually very good prep for this chem test. I was having about as much trouble with this test as with the Kaplan practice tests.

todays test was ridiculously hard for me, and i usually score about 710-750 on kaplan

yeah kaplan's tests were on par. if you're looking for good, solid prep, i would recommend using the PR book in conjunction with the kaplan book. and possibly the sacred holy book of your faith because if your test is like today's, then lord knows you'll need it.

PR was very good for me.. saw very similar questions to their tests

Kaplan contains more material than the test hase. I did not see any balancing redox equation on the test

sadly, i messed up on questions 4-8, dealing with paper chromotography and ****. I guess in IB higher level chemistry they dont teach that. damnit. i should have just done AP.

those questions are very logical. you can make sure salt match evap. Sand match filtration and I don't remeber the other one. but gasous diffusion must be wrong. If it is ink, you evap it, you got ink powder left. it can not be water filtrated or your ink will become too light. If you ever use fountain pen. you should know after your pen sucked ink. you need to clean the excess ink left on the surface using paper towel. And sometime it will get on your finger even you did not touch the ink but the spot where ink is sucked into the paper. So it can be filtrated by paper.
