Official October SAT Math Discussion

what was the one that asked for the base of the triangle in terms of x was it radical 2 or 3?

Can someone tell me what the answer was for the Volume problem for they pyramid and why its that? (V=Bh)

Do you remember the question?

12pi? that might have been for a cone

It was radical 3

12pi for the cone one.

The volume one was also a grid in guys, where they gave you the height of the pyramid and the base. If I remeber correctly, the height was five and the area of the base was 64? What did you guys get for this one?

what do you guys think -2 will be for math? 740, 750, or 760

750-760 depends on curve

how many did u omit?

The absolute value one was |w-500| has to be greater than or equal to 15
Right?

For math? I omitted none, but like 2 for CR

I got lwl -500 because it has be be less than 15. So if you chose yours^^ what if it was 400 grams. l400-500l that would be 100. Thats not less than or equal to 15

how much is 1 ommited and 1 wrong?

Did anybody get 12.4 as a grid in? It was a proportion one that was probably really easy, but I am paranoid. I think some of the other numbers mentioned were 31 and 55 or something like that.

what was the answer where it asked you for a probablity i think i got 41 it was suppose to be 45/110 for the short response question

Was one with the question about humpback whales experimental???

45/110 can reduce to 9/22

you mean 9/22?

@justimega1
I thought it said the margin came within fifteen but no less?
Can we get more people on this one to confirm
